Services
What is camping all about? Outdoor activities, of course! That's why we do our best to offer your family as wide a range of activities as possible, where you can take in the sunshine and cool breeze of a lazy summer day! Two pontoon paddle boats - required life jackets can be checked out in the office (Currently unavailable due to winter dock damage).
We know that not every day is filled with sunshine, so Country Campground offers our campers an indoor Recreational Hall complete with a wide variety of completely FREE activities that won't nickel & dime parents into the poor house. Multiple long tables for playing games, doing crafts, scrap booking or just hanging out and chatting.
Detroit Lakes is a very family-friendly city and offers many local attractions. There are plenty of opportunities for those who wish to take advantage of a little relaxation on their vacation and visit to Country Campground, but for those who are looking forward to a little action and adventure, you won't have to go far!

If you would like to leave a comment, please add them to the new "Testimonials" page, as that is more user friendly & we have discontinued using the this "Guestbook" page for comments. I've lived here on E. State street for 34 years and did not know there was such a nice camp site just south of town!

We were driving through in October from Oregon to Michigan and needed a place to stop just to sleep and hookup power for the night so we could heat our RV for our four month old. We called late at night around 8 pm and they were super nice and gave us a spot for a small donation.
Then they met us outside when we arrived and offered many spots for our needs.
Cute campground. Great people. I would love to stay here in the summer if we ever come through again. Thank you!
