Dr. Vainer is a great dentist. The challenge I have had over the years is with his office staff. I had an insurance issue that took months to get resolved so I finally had to call to get it resolved. In addition the fee they charge if you can not make an appointment the same day due to not being able to get away from the office is not fair in my opinion.

I've been seeing Dr. Vainer (senior) for over 15 years now. I get pretty nervous about all aspects of dentistry. He and his staff are always so patient and understanding. He's a master at doing procedures (such as anaesthetizing) without any pain. Plus, he has fantastic assistants and hygienists. I've been fortunate in my life to have had a few great dentists, but he may be the best!

The Vainer's are Northern California dentist gems. The office staff and both of the doctors make you feel so comfortable. Their work speaks for itself. I never feel like I am being over diagnosed and I always feel like they are truly looking out for my health in the long run. They are a great standard of what the dentistry profession should be!

Have been going here for years. Even when I moved to concord I drove all the way here! Now I'm back in the South Bay and happy to be close by again. I have had some bad experiences with previous dentists recommending unneeded work. I know that the Vainers will never do that. They are honest, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend them! I have seen both junior and senior and they are both great! I keep recommending friends and family to them and everyone has been very happy with their work!

Dr. Vainer and the entire staff are just the best. They are off the charts friendly and accommodating. There are actually 2 Dr Vainers at the office now (father and son) and both are great dentists and extremely friendly and funny. If you're not already a patient of the Dr Vainer's you need to change now, You will be very happy if you do.

Staff - Very friendly. And I appreciate the courtesy call. (5 star)
Dentist (Dr. Vainer and Son) - Very friendly. The best! Always letting you know what is being done and why as they are performing the work. Funny as well. (5 star)
Office - Very clean. No mess or tools laying around. (5 star)
Visit - One of the reasons I like this place a lot is because I don't feel a thing as work is being done! (5+ star)

I don't know why I haven't done a review until now, because I have been going to Dr. Vanier for quite a few years and I love this office. Prior to Dr. Vanier I had dentists that really seem to be all about the money and not the care. It was annoying. With Dr. Vanier I know that I will get the truth and no nonsense dentistry. The staff is always friendly and they are super helpful. Even no that I don't have insurance anymore, they offer options and have my best interest at heart. There is no high pressure at all! I can't say enough about this office!

I moved here from Colorado and had no idea where to start looking for a dentist. I despised going but I knew I had to find one. I was fortunate enough to be recommended Dr. Vainer by a colleague. About 7 years ago, I started to have sensitivity around my gums and found semi-annual cleanings to be a stressful unpleasant experience. I changed my dentist a few years ago (one I had been going to for as long as I can remember) when they told me that I had cracked molars due to grinding and to prevent them from becoming cavities, they needed to patch around them using the same stuff they use to fill

I have been coming to Dr. Vainer for 10 years and have always had a great experience. The office staff is very personable and friendly. When it comes to being comfortable they absolutely are wonderful. They are very patient with my kids and it makes all the difference when my kids are not scared of the dentist. If anyone is looking for a new dentist I highly recommend Dr. Vainer.

Great doctor. Great staff. Dr. Vainer is friendly, intelligent, and gets down to business-doesn't waste time. Rest of the staff is very friendly, too. Office is cute, cozy, and clean. Has a tropical feel to it as the walls are painted with images of fish, beach scenes, etc. Parking is never a problem. Just wish they were open on Fridays.

Dr. Vainer is the best! I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, until I started going to Dr. Vainer. He will not perform any unnecessary procedures and will make you feel very comfortable being in his chair. He has an incredible talent for giving shots with zero pain! I have moved a few times from the South Bay, to the Peninsula, and now San Francisco. I will drive over an hour just to have him treat me. I have been a loyal patient for years and totally think he is worth it!!

There is no issue with their office staff. The receptionist, who lives in Stockton, is still working there.
This is the best dentist I have found in years. Very professional staff and both the hygienists are equally good. The best thing about Dr. Vainer is that he doesn't push unnecessary work. He was very understanding when I told him I couldn't afford to replace a crown. He just told me he would be ready when I was ready.
I would highly recommend Dr. Vainer as well as the hygienists.
