We are proud to be an independent family-owned and operated funeral service and cremation provider. We invite you to browse our website, and please feel comfortable enough to stop and submit a question or comment if you wish. Services
In the early part of the last century, most funeral directors, or for the times "undertakers" came from the furniture or carpentry business. So did E.O. Curry. Around 1919, Edward O. Curry worked for William H. Croft, an "undertaker" who worked out of his furniture store at 947 Main Street in Peekskill.
Our family has been known for providing caring, attentive services for all races and all faiths. We are especially concerned with fulfilling final wishes in the most appropriate and dignified manner. Please ask us about any special services or observances that may help to commemorate, honor, and celebrate the life of your loved one.
All of our licensed directors adhere to the highest standard of ethical practices and are committed to ensuring that all of your needs are attended to. Their commitment to the community and genuine compassion toward families are but a few of the characteristics that make them outstanding in their field.
Our funeral home facility is something of a landmark in the Peekskill area. Conveniently located on North James Street, just three-blocks from major highways; this grand 175-year-old structure provides a comforting atmosphere for gathering of families and friends. Above all, your comfort is our most important concern.
When it comes time to care for a deceased loved one, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps and options. Our funeral home staff members are here and ready to help. Whether you'd like a funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you and your family.

Joe, and staff are absolutely amazing! The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do bury my Mom, Joe made it as pleasant as it possible could have been under the difficult of times.
Thank you the Catalano family.

From the first call to the days after the funeral, Joe Giordano Jr. and his compassionate/professional staff created a beautiful send off for my father. From the old world charm of the building to the easy to navigate website, Joe did not leave one stone unturned. His attention to detail at a time when my family was grieving made for the most special and well planned tribute. Joe and his staff deserves a 5 star plus rating. We will never forget the attention and care given at this most difficult of times.

E.O.Curry/Giordano Funeral Home now has a new owner a Young man Joseph Giordano. They have a funeral home in the Bronx and he is 4 generations of the Giordano Family in owning the funeral home. Had a wonderful experience with handling funeral services and he is very companionate and works with you. I highly recommend this funeral as I was very happy with the services he offered our family. The best to him and good luck Mr. Giordano. And thank you for all you did for our family through this time.

Made one of the worst days of my life even worse.
Ned Curry needs to retire.
When my 46-year old husband died, all I wanted was a cremation; not a funeral, not a casket, not a fancy urn, not memorial candles or cards, not any of the upselling garbage Ned was trying to hawk. He asked questions in a way that made me extremely uncomfortable and upset, as well as upsetting my friend the Reverend, my mother, my sister, and my sister-in-law. Ned reeled at how he'd have to "get extra guys to help" handle my husband's 300lb body and went into morbid detail about what kind of cardboard container they
