Johnson Tiller Funeral Home has been serving the Wayne and surrounding communities since 1987. We strive for excellence in each service and offer our care and support, as well as our expertise during a most difficult time. We have a beautiful 11,000 square foot facility situated on over 11 acres. We offer families their choice of tribute to their loved one.

We will help to customize and honor each individual in a way that suits the needs of the family. The style and size of service is unique to each individual. We offer the traditional service with viewing, direct burial, cremation, memorials, and any other type of service that suits the needs of the family and provides a tribute to the memory of their loved one. Traditonal funerals usually have visitation either the evening prior to or just before a funeral service.
Dewey graduated Huntington East High School, Marshall University, and Mid-America College of Funeral Service. He serves as President and licensed Funeral Director. Dewey and his wife Shirley founded Johnson-Tiller Funeral Home. Chad graduated from Chapmanville High School, attended Marshall University and graduated Salutatorian from Mid-America College Of Funeral Service.
At Johnson-Tiller Funeral Home, we offer an 11,000 square foot, handicap accessible, one floor facility which includes two chapel areas, one large chapel for traditional funerals and a smaller chapel for a more intimate setting, both with traditional pew seating. Another 5,600 square feet are located in the basement area for community events, all situated on over 11 acres.
As always, commemorating the life of a loved one is a personal and emotional event. It is most important to create a final farewell that best suits the needs of the family and the loved one's last wishes. When making cremation arrangements, we provide a wide array of choices for the family.

Whether your loved one was an avid hunter, quilter, or simply loved serving others, we will help the family provide an event that honors their life in a way that is personal and individual.Cremation also provides the family with options on the final disposition of the cremated remains.
