Yoder's Country Market
Been shopping at Yoder's since 1989 & have always loved their products -it's a great day when I've shopped at Yoder's! It just gets better every time I go! At Yoder's Country Market we are committed to a bright and healthy future. From our homemade foods and country barnyard to our organic products and energy sources, we are dedicated to the quality of the past with the technology of the future.
Services
To ensure the freshness that is so important to us and to our customers, we make all our sandwiches, soups and smoothies from scratch! Our premium ice cream (available in 12 flavors), is the perfect compliment to any meal or as a stand-alone treat. Every week we feature a special sandwich that is not on our menu.
This rich, creamy butter is made from milk from Amish farm families by the Alcam Creamery in Richland County. The old fashioned technique produces results that are unique in characteristic and taste. A robust flavor, great for using in any application, this all natural, and no preservatives butter has only two ingredients; pasteurized cream and salt.
For an additional country experience, stroll out to the petting zoo located to the right of our building. There is no admission fee and you can visit with our animals at any time. You can purchase feed from the quarter feeders outside or buy a bag inside. Please do not feed the animals corn or other types of food (this can make them sick!).
Every summer from April through September we have four Bar-B-Q's. Ever since the first official Bar-B-Q in 1985, Owen Yoder has been famous for his delicious melt-in-your-mouth chicken. The chicken quarters are marinated in Mrs. Yoder's special sauce and grilled to perfection on a rotisserie grill.

Plenty of variety of bulk items, canned items, jams and jellies. Plenty of other items too. Fresh meats etc. Staff was plentiful and friendly. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. We will return. Especially nice at this time of the year.

Great sandwiches, terrific baked goods, and we love their bulk bags of snacks. The service is exceptional and friendly. We drop in every time we pass through the area. Would buy groceries regularly if we lived in the area. (The goats and the petting zoo are great for kids.)

When you’re planning to visit Shenandoah valley, this market is a good place for a quick stop. I got some organic foods, chocolates, and beef jerky, and they were all delicious.

Yoders market is one of the most magical places in Madison County. I was thinking I would get a regular club sandwich and I received the most perfect club sandwich constructed ever. When I bit into the sandwich toast had the exact amount of crunch fellow by the lettuce, cheese, ham, turkey, and mayo. Along with the pecan tastiest are made with so much love that you can literally taste with each bit.

Very nice market with delicious speciality foods. The cheese section is excellent. Salads such as macaroni & potato along with cole slaw are always outstanding. Cold cuts to take home or sandwiches for lunch always available. Snacks such as nuts, chocolate covered raisins, pretzels and much, much more are always fully stocked.
They have a nice petting zoo that features several goats with lots of personality.

Upscale farmers market store. A great stop between DC and Charlottesville. They have a cafe with paninis, sandwiches, soup, smoothies, breakfast items as well as clean bathrooms, a little indoor area to eat,and a petting zoo was behind the building. Cafe food was good but not great, the baked goods that we purchased look more delicious. Very friendly staff. We went on a Friday at noon and it was not busy at all. Masks for required inside and the seating area had tables blocked off to keep distance between groups.
