Directly send funds for owner contributions, including emergency maintenance repairs, renovations, or reserves via eCheck or Debit Card.
We encourage our residents to activate their personal Tenant Portal. This portal will allow you to schedule, pay, and manage your rent payments directly and securely online in a choice of payment options. You can also let us know about routine property- related issues online. We will schedule your request for resolution and keep you aware of its progress.

Renting in rexburg is often an obstacle; however, Jenn at legacy is honest and does a good job at making sure you are taken care of and fairly treated. Legacy is pretty good at taking care of maintenance issues quickly and the maintenance folks are kind and do good work.

At first I didn’t like Legacy because of an issue with the owner of our privately owned apartment and I realized it wasn’t Legacy’s fault at all it was the owner. With all respect Legacy is very nice and genuine with their renters. They sent us CRUMBL COOKIES because I had a misunderstanding with them that was resolved.
Here’s the story: We have been in our apartment for a year and planned on just 1 more year to finish college. Mid way through our contract, the ownership changed and was managed by Legacy. They couldn’t let us talk to the owner only managers like Jenn that then have to

I DESPERATELY want to give these guys five stars because they were so good to us for three and a half years. But when we get our deposit back after never missing a payment or causing a problem, they've removed $250 from it. Why? Carpet cleaning, a "lease initiation fee" and generic "move out cleaning charge." See the attached photo of our place literally seconds before i locked the door for the last time. Did you even go into the house after we moved out? Super frustrating, and so so so disappointing that this is the last taste in our mouths after years of good experiences.

Website and communications are pretty good so far. Maintenance guy isn't the best, but hey. We'll see how this goes when its time to move out and we need our deposit back..
Update: we did get our deposit back with no problem! These guys are fantastic and I hope that if we have to rent again, we can come back to one they manage. Thanks!

Slow to communicate. Rude. We always paid rent and utilities on time, were respectful about our neighbors and the property, kept everything clean, but we got an ESA dog to help with my depression. They tried to evict us over it. When they couldn’t they had us move out as soon as our lease was up. They gave us 30 days to find somewhere new. We were almost homeless. They were rude, snarky, and made my depression and anxiety worse. Every time I got a message from them it gave me a panic attack because of the stressful situation they put us in. This “rental management” company is a joke. We own a townhome and have been paying an HOA fee to them for over a year and I have no idea what it’s going towards. Certainly not grounds keeping as was anticipated. There is zero communication with tenants/owners about anything that is happening on the properties. I (& my neighbors) have called multiple times and spoken to receptionists who tell me they will call me back ASAP with answers - only to never hear back from them. The office manager will not reply to our text messages OR call us back when voicemails are left. There are far better options

We considered renting a property from the Rexburg Legacy Rental company and filled out the extensive application process, including a $40 charge. Right after we submitted the application we decided to take a different direction. It was in the evening and Legacy was closed. We immediately sent an email withdrawing our application and requesting that our $40 application charge be dismissed. They refused, even though 'no work' had been done to process our application. That's just wrong!

I work in an Appraisal office and have found it difficult to work with rental property managers. Jennifer was awesome. She scheduled the inspections we needed, got back to us and made it easy to access the properties so we were not chasing down keys or tenants. When this happens we are able to focus on the appraisal work. She was well informed about the individual properties and seemed to work really well with the tenants and the owner. Highly recommend.

We have had nothing but good things to say about Legacy Rental Management. They are understanding and great to work with. Whenever we have had a maintenance request they have been really good to respond quickly and effectively. I have known Jenn Handy since December 2015 when she was with Rentmaster, and she has been nothing but the best for us since then. We have been renting our apartment with them since 2015 and now Legacy Rental Management. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the Rexburg area.

Everything seemed great while we were renting from them, but I feel like Jenn showed her true colors once we decided to move. When we first started renting from Legacy things we great but they went down hill pretty quickly. Jenn Handy is very unprofessional and incredibly rude. Upon moving out of Legacy I gave Jenn a verbal notice in February that we were moving out at the end of March but may or may not need to pay for a day or two of April, she told me that would be fine and that I would just need to let her know which days in April I would be stay if I needed to. Fast forward to March 16 I told Jenn that I would not need to be staying for any days in April after all, she acted like I had never discussed the topic

Legacy Rental was amazing. Our previous management wasn't very helpful and we had a lot of problems with them. When Jenn took over, she fixed a lot of what the old management wouldn't like fixing the parking lot, completing maintenance requests in a timely manner, and she was always available to take the time to talk and answer questions. I felt appreciated as a tenant and I recommend Legacy Rental to anyone looking for a nice place to live. They will definitely take care of you.

This company is completely dishonest and unethical. The day we moved in, I took pictures of broken and damaged things in the apartment, and emailed them to the company. They came a month later and said they were charging us for repairs, because we signed a contract and in the small print, it said we accepted the apartment "as is" and would be responsible for fixing any and all damages and repairs.
THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! DON'T MOVE IN!
