I normally always love supporting small businesses and don't like writing negative reviews, but I had a very poor experience. I was working with this service to cater for an event. We exchanged emails on the menus and pricing options, and I found one that fit our needs and budget. He sent over the contract and misspelled my name, so I asked him to fix it. He sent it again still misspelled, so I fixed it on my own and sent it back and updated the information, and asked him about how to pay the deposit without fees. Bill and his team did a phenomenal job catering our wedding. Many people had told us that the food at the wedding was never as good as the tasting but were dead wrong. Not only was the food amazing (his garlic mashed potatoes are to die for and his salmon is liked by people who normally don't like salmon) but he took our request to make short ribs which was not on his original menu. We hadn't tried the short ribs prior to the event but we were not disappointed! Actually, I'd like his recipe.

Gilchrist catered my wedding. Everything was incredible!!!! The food, the service and the details were perfect. Bill also did my cake which was amazing as well. I would highly recommend Gilchrist to everyone. I was so astonished at the servers too at the wedding - they were so kind, friendly and available for everything anyone needed. I had two flavors of cakes and when we cut it I asked one of the servers if I could a slice of one of the flavors. She went through the whole crowd to find me with that flavor. We were thrilled with Gilchrist Catering's food and staff for our company's holiday party this year! Every single dish - from the antipasto to the salmon to the chocolate decadence dessert was out of this world! I can't recommend them highly enough!
