More than meets the eye! The manager was delightful. Fresh muffins for breakfast. Along with the usual fruit and cereal. Clean comfortable room. The new decor is wonderful! Don't let the look of the fool you!
We will be staying there again.

Pros: clean and nice decor, no odor, sheets were very clean.
Cons: tiny room and bathroom, window in shower to room (no privacy) bathroom door doesn't close completely and walls are paper thin. Could hear the people in the next room snoring all night. nobody in office until after 8am which wouldn't matter, but there's no coffee pot in the room and was told coffee and muffins at 7am in office. Overpriced in our opinion. Hope they do well. But we won't be back.

Half the rooms are updated tastefully. Rooms are small, bathroom is itty bitty, window in shower so that anyone in your room can see your upper torso while showering. Mattresses are new and comfy. Half the price of Super 8, but no pool, hot tub, or breakfast. Front desk is in the process of being updated and not great. A lot of work has been done on the Elkhorn.

Great place in the town of Grangeville. Cozy and unassuming. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The fridge in the room was unexpected at the price point I paid. The only complaint I had here was the window dressing let a bit of light in at the wee a.m. hours, so if you're looking to sleep in, bring an eye mask.
Food is walking distance but many things close before 9p.

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved this place. When we checked in, the lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. We entered our room and fell in love. It was a cottage feel with the comforts of home. Everything was clean and smelled nice. There is only 4 or 5 rooms total so it's very quiet which we loved. The price was also amazing for the room you get. Definitely will stay here again if/when we come to grangeville.

Very pleasant and comfortable room. Plenty of pillows, bed was comfortable, and decor was put together and not over the top. Everything I want from a room was present. They shouldn't have vacancies, but I'm super glad they had one when I needed a room to get out of the cold and the rain. Definitely would stay there again.

Great prices, doing a really nice job renovating an old motel. Super cute log cabin style outside, beautiful flowers outside! The interior is very clean, and modern. Love the decor.
One minor touch, when I took my dogs to go potty two mastiffs came over to sniff my dogs (From the back of the main building. As in the owners?) and while they seemed to be nice enough, when two 200lb dogs come running barking at two little 30lb dogs, it’s scary! I was shaken, you’re dogs were nice enough but they ought to be on leash or in the nice looking yard to the side of it a fence. Maybe this is already

August 2019: Another tastefully updated retro motel. While the exterior recalls a past era, the renovations in Rm106 brought it up to date with modern plumbing (that worked), a real tile shower, furniture, appliances and decor. The A/C and windows worked fine in this room. The ceiling fan was much appreciated. Our room was clean.

My boyfriend has been staying in this wonderful establishment for the past 3 weeks while he is in Grangeville working and I've been here for a week visiting. We are both extremely well traveled and have stayed in many hotels throughout the country on business trips. The hospitality and accommodations here are superb. The family owned atmosphere is alive and well. The staff has been exceptionally accommodating of our needs. So friendly!! The mattresses are super comfy and of a quality not found in comparably priced places. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and homey. All the coffee you can
