Went there for a simple earlobe piercing, had been considering getting one for a while but finally booked an appointment. The piercer, Erica, was INCREDIBLY nice, made me feel very at ease (she could probably tell I was nervous). Overall I had a wonderful experience there and would definitely recommend!

I did a lot of research to decide where I wanted to get my septum pierced because I have heard horror stories of people getting pierced in the incorrect spot. Bethesda Tattoo Company had the best reviews and do not disappoint. It was a very quick process, I walked upstairs, got checked in, and waited while Erica sanitized the room. When it was time to get pierced, Erica, who is fully vaccinated and kept on her mask, explained the entire process and was very gentle and accommodating. The actual piercing process was relatively painless and I don't have the highest pain tolerance. Fully recommend

This was my first experience in an actual tattoo and piercing shop. In the past I had gotten my ears pierced at piercing pagoda, and my nostril pierced by a friend (bad idea). I had also gotten all 3 of my tattoos done by an independent artist. So going to an actual shop was a first.

I've gotten 5 tattoos done at shops of various quality, and this place looked promising of having a good hassle free experience. I wanted a relatively simple text tattooed that could have been a walk in. Eight words and they were asking $300 for it. Way overpriced, considering I have two full size quality chest pieces that weren't even that much. I had to go back and forth with them through email to work out the details, when any other shop I could've walked in and had the artist work with me to get it right. Instead I was asked to do part of the tattoo artist's job of formatting

Bethesda tattoo is a wonderful shop. The staff are helpful, friendly, outgoing and very skilled. I just got my second tattoo at Bethesda Tattoo and the quality, the artistic skill of the staff and the organized, professional and orderly way they do business really appealed to me. My artists, Liaa Walter, is great to work with. Liaa collaborated with me for months on the artwork and the design. Liaa's line work is exceptional and she does the most beautiful and detailed floral work I've ever seen. I've gotten many compliments on my ink. I recommend Bethesda tattoo to novices like me and veterans

I had Jason real cool dude down to earth nice vibes while tatting I got Polynesian art on my shoulder free hand design. When Jason says he doesn't take breaks he literally does not take breaks 3 and half hours of pure needle to skin. Very minimal pain he does not dig in your skin like some artists does I'm going back by next month to get my tricep done and he even paid for my parking amazing

James recently refreshed a tattoo he gave me way back in 2005. It looked great for 16 years, and looks AMAZING now. In addition to the quality of their tattooing, the shop is spotless, the location is convenient, and their receptionist worked with me so that I could come in at a workable time. Very professional establishment all around. So glad they made it through the pandemic!

Kai pierced my cartilage this afternoon and I’m so happy! Have been wanting this piercing for almost a year but it took me a while to get up the nerve to do it. Kai made me feel very at ease and the process was quick. I have a significant fear of needles but didn’t faint or even panic because they were so good natured and chill. Good vibes and good service. Also enjoyed the easy process of completing all paperwork and reservations online for a fast COVID-safe visit.

Awesome! Kai did a an ear piercing for me in a similar location to where I got my other ear pierced years ago. That time I almost passed out from it- this time was SO easy. He made it as painless as a piercing can be, talked through the process so you knew what to expect, cleaned and talked through aftercare after doing the piercing to give you time to lay there and make sure all was okay. They don’t have infinite jewelry options but definitely enough to find something suitable for the first piercing and at a nice range of prices. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I have visited this shop both pervious to and since(during) the pandemic. Both tattoos and piercings. Under all circumstances the employees at this shop have been amazing. I have never had any questions or concerns about sanitation or safety. I cannot recommend this shop enough, between the talent of the artists and the professionalism they show they are totally worth the visit.

I have been coming to Bethesda tattoo for 10+ years and I will never get tattooed anywhere else. The knowledge, quality of work, and friendliness of the staff are amazing. This place is amazing!! Professional, friendly and welcoming staff. The place makes you feel at home and relaxed. Josh did my tattoo with great detail. He was really nice and asked my opinion about the design. Overall It took three sessions with the last one adding the initials and dates. Everyone that looks at my tattoo says it looks great and amazing.

4.5 stars. Kinda pricey but still a great place to get a tattoo! They will work with your budget. Super friendly and helpful people. Spacious and clean shop. You will have to come in person to make an appointment and have to make a deposit to secure the appointment.

I had been search for months on an artist that could do a great lettering tattoo. I wanted to get a poem that my cousin wrote but I wanted the tattoo in her handwriting. One day I stumbled across Bethesda Tattoo Company and as I looked through the artists, Adam jumped out. I had a consult with Adam and brought in photos of what I wanted and plans that I had for placement. After our talk I felt very confident that I made the right choice on artists.
