The Vargus Fitness workout combines it all, boxing/kickboxing, spinning, battlerope training, kettlebells and dumbbells and more. Our workout will keep your metabolism high and always torching extra fat up to 24 hours after each workout with our Vargus Fitness nutrition program!

Vargus Fitness is a Long Island, New York personal and group training center owned by Michael Vargus who has over 20 years experience in strength and conditioning training and personal and group training. Vargus Fitness trainers hold personal and group certifications in ISSA, NSCA, ACE and Exercise Science degrees.
Services
During you Free Consultation, you will be evaluated on your fitness level by a professional personal fitness trainer. A $30 charge will be placed on hold on your credit card. You will be refunded in full after your FREE consultation. If you don't show up for your consultation or cancel within 12 hours of your session, the $30 charge will not be refunded.
We can create programs for all fitness levels. We also tailor the workouts depending on the exercise equipment you have available. Whether you have access to a full gym, no equipment at all or somewhere in between we can design a program to meet your needs. Step 1 - You receive a 15 minute skype consultation where we will evaluate you and go over your fitness and nutritional needs and wants.
When you think of stretching and recovering, you think of loosening up after a workout, making sure your muscles don't stay tight. But if you ask anyone who's ever tried our stretch and recovery program, they will tell you that stretching and recovery is about so much more than simply feeling better, or having a wider range of motion.
Mike really cares about your sucess. He truly listens to his clients needs and works very dilegently to meet and exceed your personal fitness goals. He is truly an awesome trainer and I would never go to another gym. From the moment I met Mike, I knew he was a person that could help me achieve new goals and also the one that would help change my life for the better.

Mike is a motivating training who is supportive and gets results! He adapts workouts to what you like and what will help you see results, mixing boxing, cardio, weight training, and body weight exercises. He’s super affordable and I wish I still lived in the area to continue working with him.

I get a lot out of these sessions, Mike is a great guy, great atmosphere. I was totally new to training and I don't have a history of being athletic, but Mike is easy to work with and very encouraging.

If you're looking for an excellent high intensity workout this is the spot. Ask for mike! He's great if you're looking for one on one or small group sessions. I left my local CrossFit because the workouts with him you can't find anywhere else. I've lost a great amount of weight and I wouldn't recommend another company for better results! The meal plan they offer is also a huge benefit because it helps me save time with easy meal preps!

Before joining Vargus Fitness I despised any type of exercise. However, I now enjoy working out due to the motivation I receive during my session along with Mike’s individualized approach to training. Mike is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Mike to anyone of any age.

Mike’s passion for training and helping his clients succeed is what makes him so great. There is nothing that makes him happier than for him to see you improve after each session. He is full of surprises with his workouts so things are never boring. I highly recommend him as a trainer!!

I started training with Mike about a month ago. I’m already down 9 pounds and I feel so much better. Amazing workouts that make the time fly! He always responds to messages with whatever random questions I have for him - no matter how ridiculous I think they may be. He makes workout plans for the days I don’t see him and just workout by myself. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to make changes.

I always look forward to my workout trained by Mike! He’s super supportive and motivating. Always a new challenge with him. He knows when I’m ready for a new level of push! If I need a workout plan for the gym or work travel in between sessions he’s right on it. Highly recommend trying out a consultation with him! Enjoy :)
