Dr. Malik is an incredibly kind and strategic psychiatrist. No mater what your concern is, Dr. Malik is willing to listen and help. He is extremely knowledgeable and will help you to understand what is going on and explain how he can help. Working with Dr. Malik is often as comfortable as talking to an old friend.

I've been a patient of Dr. Malik's for about a year and a half now. He has been a wonderful psychiatrist to work with, helping me to understand and cope with anxiety that was beyond anything rational. Dr. Malik helped me find the right medication and understand the long-term nature of treating anxiety. It's been a long process, but one where I've gone from just keeping my head above water to thriving again and finding much better balance in life.

I was a patient of Dr. Malik for about a year. I found him to be the most knowledgeable, accommodating, and caring I've ever met. During the time I was a patient, he has always provided the absolute best advice and treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Malik to anyone that wants a doctor that's extremely knowledgeable and empowering.

I arrived for an appointment and the doctor claims to have canceled. There are no records of him or his staff doing this. They will send 15 emails confirming your first appointment but not follow up on the second. And when asked about the policy, the doctor tries to gaslight and make the patient feel bad.

Very poor experience with this psychiatrist which sadly left me questioning his credentials. I should have steered clear after the first instance of shady billing practices. During our first appointment he mentioned that he charges $185 administrative fee to cover the cost of communicating with his "office" over email. I said I needed to think about that and would let him know if I was willing to pay extra for that convenience. After my second appointment he charged the $185 administrative fee without my consent and without notifying me. I felt this was sneaky and thankfully he refunded

Dr. Malik is an exceptional psychiatrist. He goes the extra mile to ensure that his patient's needs are met. He has helpfully advised me on problems ongoing in my life that were unrelated to the condition which prompted me to begin seeing him. He stays up to date on the latest developments in the field, and it is evident that his opinions are well formed from his years of experience. I would highly recommend his services to anyone seeking a psychiatrist.

Dr. Malik is a excellent psychiatrist, and treating me since 2013. He is humble compassionate and down-to-earth. His fee is reasonable and proves that the patient is priority. A rare trait in this profession. Dr. Malik is a beautiful human that does not judge, prescribe toxic medications, or demean. He gets to emails and phone calls promptly. Don't do what I did and bounce around. Find yourself a welcoming and honest psychiatric home. He's on par with the best the mid peninsula has to offer.

I've been going there for about 6 months. The front office doesn't seem to exist, never anyone there. The phones are never maned, you can only leave messages. I missed an appointment early on when I first started going here. Then Dr Malik told me they would send me alerts to remind me of my appointments, and I got a email once. I called to check on my next appointment as I never did get an email to remind me and found out I missed it by four days and now it is going to cost me $185.00. I think it's very unfair, as I was to pay $185. for an hourlong appointment, I was never

On top of the 3 main points I mentioned above they actually tried to charge me $200 for a "no show fee" when i called and cancelled the appointment a day prior anyways. On top of this, the office actually called me back and left me an incredibly rude voicemail.

His ability to empathize and see things clearly have helped steer me through some incredibly difficult times in my life. I had a really bad experience with Dr. Malik. For my first visit, he was 45 minutes late to the office (I was the first appointment). When he arrived, he simply told me to wait, without ever giving me an apology. He then STILL charged me the $20 dollars for our 15 minute session. The second visit was OK, I think, although I don't remember it all that well. I just remember a general impression of feeling angry and annoyed. The third visit was the last straw. The front desk is teRRRible. I constantly get hung up on, they dont answer calls.
Dr Malik is impossible to get a hold of. While he is pleasant, it's difficult to get him to give paperwork too. My friend referred him to me and he too shares this gripe.
