We are committed to providing the highest quality of orthopedic care. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff prides themselves on making your visit a pleasurable one.
Dr. Akre specializes in general orthopedics and sports medicine. He has been an orthopedic surgeon for over a decade in the Michiana area. In addition to treating patients in our office Dr. Akre goes to the following facilities - St. Joseph Regional Medical Center (Mishawaka), Memorial Hospital, Allied Physicians Surgery Center and Unity Surgical Arts.

Dr. Akre was very professional and took time to explain and answer my questions. The only issues I had were not with him. It took me almost a month out to get seen for a workers comp issue. Also my last follow-up appointment was cancelled by his office and rescheduled, however, several days later I received a text confirming my original appointment was still on. I showed up on the original scheduled appointment and they told me to return the next day. Overall it was a good experience with him, I do recommend him.

A very nice place to be seen. Everything was super . And a very nice staff there. I would like to say that Dr.McCain is a 10 out of 10 in my choice to ever need.to be seen for any bone or joint to be done. Just a very pleasant place. And must say Plymouth is sure glad to have him and his staff there.
