The Lexington Ballet Company and School aims to nurture better human beings who understand the value of the arts. Not everyone will become a dancer but everyone can benefit from what dance has to offer. Dance encapsulates what is good and valuable in the human spirit: Kindness, Valor, Empathy, Courage, Beauty, Wisdom, Strength, and all that is beautiful in the human species.
Dance embodies these concepts and transmits them first to our students and then to our audience. Both Nancy and I have been incredibly lucky and have had opportunities to learn from some of the most important figures in the dance world. Services
Lexington Ballet School provides expert ballet instruction for all ages. Directed by Nancy Dominguez, the school staffs accomplished professional dancers for all class levels. Professionalism, respect, discipline and creativity are hallmarks of the school. Lexington Ballet School was founded as part of Lexington Ballet Company in 1974.

My daughter came to her love of dance late. She didn't start really dancing until she was 12. She believed she wanted the "competition" dance, and we tried it for a few years. Dozens of costume fees, recital costumes, competition fees, private lesson fees, class fees ... It makes me sweat thinking about it!
The best thing that ever happened to her was leaving competition behind and starting dance with Lexington Ballet. Yes - it's “only” ballet. But ballet is the basis for all other dance. Lexington Ballet encourages Master classes in other disciplines and offers plenty of opportunities. Last

If I could give this company zero stars I would! Do not enroll your child in this program! The "instructors" are NOT interested in teaching their students & would rather demean and humiliate children than do their job! Your complaints or concerns will go unheard and unresolved, from top to bottom this company is inept!
