Kiran's Montessori Preschool is a California State licensed large size home based Preschool. Conveniently located in the Mohr Park area of Pleasanton, 3 miles from Hwy 680 and a short 1 mile away from Hwy 580. A leisurely 5 minutes walk to Nielsen Park and just a short 20 minute walk to Mohr Elementary school.
The preschool is located in a safe single family home complex within Mohr Park; the classroom itself is comfortable and cozy, we have ample outdoor space for the kids to use their imagination and pretend play in the backyard. My preschool is inspired by the Montessori Method of teaching where each child works at their own pace and has the freedom to choose the materials they would like to work with on a particular day.

Services
Practical Life activities are the activities that we engage in on a daily basis. These are life skills that a child engages in by first observing and then doing it on their own. A child has attained culturally relevant language skills from 0-3 years. Within the prepared environment of a preschool the child will now start using the language through symbol recognition, sounds, names of objects and pre-writing.
Kiran's Montessori Preschool offers Early Childhood programs for two's, Preschoolers, Pre-k / Kindergarten. The age range is 2.5 - 6 year old. Montessori's belief was that children learn to be patient, and great leaders within these mixed age groups. The classroom is a prepared environment for this age range and also helps the younger group follow the lead from the oldest child in the classroom.
Our goal is to help your child develop lifelong eating habits. We do not serve foods with high sugar content. They will always have a whole grain food choice in their meal, with fresh fruit and vegetables. Toddlers (18 months to 2 years) are served whole milk, and all other students are served 1% milk.

As I looked for the right place for my twins, I visited many preschools in the area. The way that Kiran connected with my boys really impressed me. She showed so much care and interest! And I quickly learned this wasn't something she did just the first time she meets students- her respect and loving attention to my children was apparent every preschool session.
My boys learned so much in her program. They became more skilled, more independent, more helpful at home, and more self confident. I cannot write in one review all they learned, but I do want to say they loved preschool and I love Ms. Kiran

I had been looking for a Montessori style school for my 3.5 yr old for quite a bit of time. I came across Kiran’s Montessori Preschool during my initial search. Though she had great reviews, I hesitated to check her out because she is a home based daycare and school, instead I settled for the next best choice, a renowned traditional private school . And I regret that decision I made. My kid did not see any improvements whatsoever for the 10 months she was in that “traditional school” . Frustrated I pulled her out of that school and went to Kiran’s. That was the best decision I made that
