Ian has been an athlete his entire life, playing many sports competitively into high school and beyond. However, he didn't understand the importance of fitness until he underwent reconstructive elbow surgery for an injury he suffered playing baseball in college. Ian worked with physical therapists and trainers to understand the nuances of his rehab and to better prepare for the rigors of high-level athletics.
From the moment you walk into our fitness center in Westmont, our hope is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. From there you can work with a certified personal trainer, join a group fitness class, or if you're an athlete-embark upon specialized training specifically designed to help you excel in your sport.
Workouts are not thrown together for you to get through at breakneck speed. Instead, each boot camp workout is meticulously planned out by i.e. fitness' experienced and knowledgeable trainers that will help you lose weight, build muscle and increase your stamina. You can expect basic, intermediate and advanced bodyweight, strength and cardio endurance exercises that challenge you on a daily basis while allowing you to work at your own pace.
Fitness Senior fitness class is perfect for older adults looking to maintain and improve their overall health, strength and mindset. Our intimate setting will make you feel comfortable regardless of your age or fitness level. Whether you're a committed workout veteran or a newcomer to fitness, our experienced trainers will tailor every senior fitness class to your needs.

I've been a member of this i.e. Fitness for over two years. Workouts are challenging but scalable for your fitness level. I've never been in better shape!!! Great people too!!!

I’ve been working out with Ian and Emily for just over seven years now. Going to work out with them is always the highlight of my day. Not only do they provide an intense, sweat-inducing workout, but also amazing conversation, stories, and jokes. They truly care about you as a person, and your progression in and out of the gym. I LOVE i.e. Fitness!!! Before I went to this gym, I never enjoyed working out. The environment that Ian and Emily have created in their gym is positive, encouraging, and professional. They put the customers priorities first and push them to work hard when training. I have seen a real change in my body and am very happy. They always keep the conversation interesting and are very welcoming when you first start off!

I am coming up on a year of being a member of i.e. Fitness and have been incredibly happy with the quality and variety of workouts offered through the boot camp program offered. Each boot camp is unique and is structured to make you sweat but also make you feel confident and strong. I would be remiss if I did not mention the awesome community among its members. I went looking for a gym that challenged me and found that and more with the friends I've made through boot camp classes.

I have been training with Ian for over a year now and it is a one of a kind experience. Personal focus and attention to detail is something that a great facility needs and i.e. Fitness practices those things every single session perfectly. Ian as well as the other trainers in the gym have great personalities and make the workouts something to look forward to.

I.e Fitness is the place to be, no matter you fitness goal. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ian and Emily do a stellar job of incorporating the basics of strength training into a fun and engaging workout, every time! Regardless of your fitness level, the trainers here will help cater every exercise and movement to be right for you.

I tried this gym today as part of a ClassPass visit. I was really impressed! Most of my classes have been downtown Chicago and this was every bit as tough of a workout as the city gyms (although appropriate modifications were provided for all levels). The regulars and Ian were all super friendly and welcoming. I've been to a ton of different interval style gyms and this was one of my faves! Definitely recommend. Also - there is a private shower available as well.

I LOVE I E Fitness and Ian and Emily!!! The boot camp classes are fun and challenging but with modifications available if you can't meet a particular challenge. The best part is that I always look forward to going (which is the key to any workout). I have been going for almost 2 years 3-5 times a week and I feel better than I have in a long while!!! Thanks GUYS!!!

So....working out. Not always easy to stick with. Am I right?!?!

I live in the city and started working in the western suburbs a couple months ago, and my big box, neighborhood gym was becoming harder and harder to get to. Ironic, since it's only a few blocks away from my apartment! I realized I needed a lifestyle change. I needed a gym with small class sizes, convenient early morning or evening class times, workouts that were challenging, and above all great people!

I am SO glad I found i.e. Fitness! Emily and Ian are fantastic - they create challenging workouts and provide modifications

Great gym. Really clean mid-sized studio. The trainers really know what they are talking about. I've been working with Ian and Emily for a while (the owners) and suffice it to say they will get you results if you are willing to put in the time and dedication.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to slim down, get in better shape or take their training to another level.

I took a class via ClassPass and loved it! Small, boutique gym, but with all equipment needed. Trainer was awesome (corrected form as needed and provided modifications as I'm recovering from a torn ligament). Class size was small and the exercise circuits were well thought out. I was nervous moving from downtown to the burbs that I wouldn't be able to find classes as good as the ones offered downtown, but I was wrong! I'll definitely be using my 3 classes per month here!

I had a great experience today with i.e. Fitness. Emily and Ian were great--welcoming, interested in my background, and encouraging. I could tell they are extremely passionate about their work!

I took the group bootcamp class, which was a fun class with a variety of exercises that were a mix of cardio and strength training. Emily was super attentive throughout the class, correcting form, providing modifications, and encouraging the group.
