I was a member at the Naperville location for years but what I don't like is scammers! It was supposed to be a 24hr gym. Went to go work out last month and it was closed. Thought maybe they were short staffed like many of the other places by here. Came back a few days ago to find out it was completely empty. Call the nearest Avolve and was advised they closed back in October! They didn't mail any notices or email anything letting us know, at least not me. The catch is they have continued charging my account. Their excuse "well you have access to the Darian location" so Darian location is a 15 mile

Avolve Fitness is a scam!!! If your a member, your trapped! While I'm sure the equiotment is present, if for any reason you try to cancel, they will avoid you, lie to you, and still charge your card after they tell you your membership is canceled. In some cases they send you to collections. This is the real reason they are in business, to trap members in a scam. The gym is a front. Avoid joining this, or any other discount gym at all cost. If you have.....good luck.

Getting anyone to answer the phone is impossible. Some staff is phenomenal, some staff members seem very young and unhelpful. I called months ago to cancel my membership, and was told I will be charged one extra month, then my membership will be cancelled. Three months later, I realized I was still being charged. I called and after numerous days of trying, someone answered, cancelled my account (again) and made note to have the manager call me. Now I have paid 5 additional months. When I am able to get someone to answer, they always say they will leave a message and the manager Josh will call me

I have been a member of Lifetime, LA Fitness, and Bally's. At each of those gyms I felt like just another member to hit a "quota". It never felt like a second home to me like Avolve does. They truly care about their members and will go above and beyond to make sure they're happy. Case in point, I put my account on hold during the pandemic because I am a high risk individual. Arianna went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and provided a level of follow up that you just do not see anymore in customer service. She has set the standard and I am happy to finally

Do not use Avolve Fitness in Wauconda, Il. Very poor management. My daughter and I cancelled the membership in November in person and their employee Morgan W advised we were just going to be charged a December payment and that's it. I have a cancellation form stating the exact thing. They have continued to charge my debit card. I called them today and apparently the only one that can help me is the only manager of the place and she does not have a boss. She is certainly throwing her weight around and is unwilling to solve the problem of their incompetence. She said it was my fault and

Wouldn't provide rates over the phone. You need to physically appear to know their membership fees. I told the person on the phone "no thank you" when hey told me I would need to drive over to hear their rates and they hung up.
Seems like a bad sign that at the very first point of contact they hide basic info about their business, so I consider myself lucky to have chosen another gym.
