While surgeons focus on a particular part of your body, we focus on your comfort, safety and stability during surgical procedures. Whether you are under regional, general or monitored anesthesia, we constantly track your vital signs and adjust medications to ensure you remain stable and to prevent pain during surgery.
Members of the Salem Professional Anesthesia team have been building professional medical relationships with the doctors of Greensboro Specialty Surgical Center since 1990. It is these professional relationships that have allowed us to continue to provide clinically excellent anesthesia care at GSSC since August of 1996.
In many cases, yes, you do have anesthesia choices. Your anesthesia provider will offer choices, as appropriate, for the type of surgery you are going to have. At Salem Professional Anesthesia Services, your anesthesia will be administered by a experienced staff of well trained professionals.
These include Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs-advanced practice registered nurse-specialists in anesthesia), and/or Anesthesiologists (medical doctor specialists in anesthesia.)All staff work together as a collaborative team to administer your anesthesia in a safe and comfortable manner.

North Carolina law requires us to process your anesthesia service claim in-network. Salem Professional Anesthesia will process your claim based on your insurance carrier's in-network benefits. How will you process my claim?. As a courtesy to you, our administrative office will send the claim to your insurance carrier.
