You can work one-on-one with your instructor or bring up to three friends: the session is entirely yours. Blue Moon Ballroom offers both onsite private lessons in all the social dances in a safe, clean environment and virtual dance lessons you can take with one of our amazing instructors from your own home.

Services
Our Friday practice parties are back. TGIF Dance Parties take place in the ballroom on most Fridays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for dancers at all levels. Practice your ballroom skills, learn a couple of line dances, and meet other dancers in a relaxed social setting. In addition, Blue Moon presents two annual student showcases, so you can feel the thrill of performance.

The venue is beautiful, Jim the owner is awesome and Chef Kia and Kim and Kreative Blessings Catering is also truly blessed!!! I cannot wait to use this facility and all their services together in the future! Thank you all so much for such a wonderful delicious tasting today. We truly enjoyed everything!!

Jim was disorganized not remembering our inital appointment or when we showed up for our rescheduled inital appointment. He didn't seem to remember what we had done in previous lessons. His method of instructing is quite close to a riddle. He's a nice enough guy just not what we were looking for. Also, beware if you pay upfront there are no refunds.

Hosted a baby shower in the back venue. It was big enough for us to practice social distancing with about 50 guest total. The space is set up really nice (draping & lighting).
Booked the venue in July & caught their special that consisted of $500 for 4hr rental service, table, chairs and linen included.
Will use for future events.

This is a truly a wonderful place, the people are very kind and very helpful, with real expertise in teaching dance. I have always been able to come to them about any question and they have always taken the time to explain it to me in detail. They make learning to dance just a lot of fun. So even if you are just learning to dance at 67 like me or have years of experience they can help you. I have come to trust and rely on them.
I love going to their Friday night dance and meet some of other students, all speak very highly of the Blue Moon Ballroom.

A wonderful experience with Owner/Instructor Jim Williamson. This is my first time for dance lessons & I felt awkward, but Jim put me at ease & made me feel comfortable. I am getting ready for my son’s Wedding in Austin, Texas & Jim is choreographing a dance and coordinating with a dance instructor in Austin for a fabulous “Mother-Son” dance !!

My fiancé and I were looking for a quick first dance wedding lesson so I contacted Jim based on reviews. I figured we could do one small lesson and that’s be good enough for us but I quickly learned there was so much Jim could teach us! We ended up coming back more than once and he set up not only such a beautiful routine for our dance to our song, but taught us “moves” in such a way that we can piece together new routines ourselves. He was very personable and made dancing easy! Very thankful for our lessons and can’t wait to show off on our wedding day! Would recommend blue moon ballroom
