Services
Pam & Bre Reeder are the mother/daughter duo behind the scenes of Southern Oaks. Together they have planned and decorated each wedding since the very beginning in 2015. They could not have done it without their very talented (and handy) husband/father, Brett Reeder. The venue has come along way since it was first bought.
This house, that is now the face of Southern Oaks, was built in 1820. Still with its original wooding and design, this house is what makes our venue stand out from others. It includes a Bridal Suite, Groom's Room, a Den Area for parents and grandparents to relax, and a recently added "Ladies Loft" just for hair and makeup.
The Bridal Suite has a vanity that stretches the entirety of the room, with a total of 10 mirrors and seating, an antique armoire for the bride, fridge, and private restroom. When booking a package, complimentary champagne and a fruit & cheese tray are provided. The "Ladies Loft" is located in the top of the house.
To better serve our couples that have upcoming weddings with us, we have made a few changes. We are limiting planning consultations, final meetings and tours to Tues-Thurs 9am-5pm. This change is so that we can use the other days to set up and prepare for the upcoming events. Calls, texts and emails after Thursday at 5:00 pm will be returned Tuesday morning.

The venue was nice an well maintained. I originally gave it 5 stars, and was considering suggesting the venue to a friend. It is very dark at night, and needs more lighting in front of the venue and in the parking lot.
I inquired with a couple who's wedding I attended this weekend about the venue. It has also come to my attention that after the wedding they were refused their deposit back. After reading the contract, I questioned why a business would ask for a cash damage deposit. Most businesses/hotels/event centers make customers place a card on file for damages. If video footage is available

We just signed our contract to have our dream wedding at this beautiful venue. The ladies are kind, patient, and care about your needs for your special day. Pam especially has been wonderful since the time we start talking and texting on the phone, before we had met in person. She has answered all my questions. She has been informative of other vendors. She has been supportive of all my needs amd wants for our special day. And we appreciate her for it all.. I just pray everything comes out as beautiful, and perfect as I picture it in my mind. Pam and Bre and all of the staff at Southern Oaks are amazing! My husband and I got married in September of 2019 and our day was absolutely perfect. They made sure every detail was exceptional. It was absolutely perfect! Pam and her daughter Bri Are wonderful and easy to work with! They had great advise and have a beautiful Venue! Damien and Greta where absolutely fantastic with set up, decorations and directing! They helped us chose DJ Manny for music and videography and also Baileys for the beautiful and delicious wedding cake. So happy we chose to have our daughter’s wedding at Southern Oaks!

I opted to do the package with them which included catering, bar tending staff, chairs for both ceremony and reception, so much beautiful… decor, and so so so much more. For this reason, and so many other reasons, my wedding planning process and wedding day were so stress free and relaxing. Being a very hands on person, it was AMAZING to sit back and relax and trust that every detail was being tended to.

Southern Oaks was the perfect place for my dream wedding! Pam did such an amazing job planning every last detail. She was so easy to work with and it was such a great experience to have someone who has done this for years to help with all of the questions I had and planning! It rained on my wedding day, meaning we had to change our plans of an outdoor wedding and I was not disappointed. The chapel was so beautiful and it was even better than my original plan! All of the decorations were magical! I highly recommend Southern Oaks to anyone! It was the perfect place for my wedding and I am so grateful
