I had such a great experience with Tailor Maid. Planning a wedding is very stressful, and Marissa and her team made getting my dress tailored such an enjoyable experience. Don't even question it - when it comes to intricate designs, couture, or even if weight fluctuations she is a pro! I could not recommend Tailor Maid more highly.
Every lady working there brings to the table a certain expertise- so I dont doubt that they can handle any dress. They're perfectionists which was great for me because it meant that I was getting the highest quality alterations with amazing attention to detail. Services
The second fitting should be scheduled 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. If the dress is not ready to take home after the 2nd fitting, we will make any necessary fixes while you wait. If you are unable to wait, you can return 1-2 days later to pick up your dress. In our experience, this timeframe helps to ensure that the fit is perfect for the big day.

The team at Tailor Maid was so enjoyable to work with and I am so grateful for all their help with my wedding dress! I had never worked with a seamstress before my wedding and I was blown away by the talent and attention to detail from the ladies at Tailor Maid (I wished I remembered everyone's name who helped me at my appointments, they were all wonderful).

I found this very overpriced. Came in for a bustle, maybe a small taking in at the waist (1/2 inch?). The first person who pinned it, it seemed very straightforward, although she said I needed the inner lining pinned, which I didn't think so, it felt like it fell pretty well, fell at the right length. Then the second person came to inspect the pinning and completely re-did it. She said it would take 24 hours of work to tailor it, to take off all beading and appliqué. And hand sew it. She charged more than $1000. I said no thank you and she took out the pins, gave me back the dress and still

I'm so grateful and impressed with the work and service from Marissa and the Tailor Maid team! From start to finish they executed all my fittings perfectly and guided me so wonderfully throughout the process with care and consideration. Marisa, and her co-worker Lisa, did wonderful work on a dress that turned out to be extra challenging due to the three layers it had, the top one having delicately embroidered flowers. Also, the dress needed to be taken in two sizes which complicated the work in hand. It was a very time consuming & intricate job which took more hours than expected. Marisa stayed with her original quote when it came to billing me. In the end the dress fitted like it was made for me & it (& I) looked fabulous on the day.Thank you so much Marisa!

TL;DR - Absolutely perfect
My experience at Tailor Maid was delightful, to say the least, but truly it was nothing short of perfection on the alterations made to my dress. My ONE comment is that, parking is an absolute nightmare, so unless you're bringing your dress home that day, take public transit or Uber. They have a nice little waiting area so you can just chill while your Uber comes.
I worked mostly with Shelley, and I got to meet Marissa, the owner as well. Emily helped me twice, and the seamstress, whose name slips me now, was great as well! Everyone there was extremely professional

As the ideas for our small wedding during the pandemic evolved, I wanted to take a very plain wedding dress I had and add some customization, including floral lace I found online and the buttons from my mother's wedding dress. It was such a wonderful experience working with Marissa and the team at Tailor Maid. They really sought my feedback as they added the lace to the dress and seemed genuinely excited about this challenging custom project. I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Tailor Maid for simple alterations and for more challenging customization.

All I knew is that my dress didn't fit me right, and I needed help fixing it. I got my wedding dress altered here. They were so busy that they ended up just lifting up the straps or my dress instead of actually altering the bodice of the A frame for it to fit to my body. It looked terrible on my wedding day but I had no choice and somehow paid $550 for shortened straps and the hem. Seems like I could have gone to any dry cleaner for that level of quality and spent a lot less money. The tailor is very talented but was very busy- recommend this place if it’s not peak wedding dress alteration time.

We postponed our wedding several times due to COVID. W decided to have a micro-wedding to make it official in case our rescheduled ceremony is called off. I purchased my dress several years ago from BHDLN (Willowby by Watters Raliegh dress). I wanted to finally wear it regardless if our rescheduled wedding occurs.
The Tailor Maid team did a fantastic job tailoring my dress. I had bought my dress on sale and it was 4x sizes too big. The craftsmanship was remarkable as they had to do a lot of delicate hand work to adjust the train and chiffon layers to bring in my dress. My dress fit perfectly

Marissa and her team were fantastic to work with as both my wife and I needed our dresses altered in less than 4 weeks before our last-minute elopement.
Marissa was really flexible with scheduling us back-to-back and also ensured that we didn't see each others' dresses during the alteration process. Her and her team went above and beyond in finding options for undergarments that worked with both of our dresses, even running out to the store to pick up more materials to make sure it would work. I had an amazing experience working with the Tailor Maid team for my wedding dress alterations. I had a fairly quick turnaround (about 35 days) and their team made it easy to get in and out and get my dress before the wedding. They came highly recommended by a friend after her wedding and now I know why!

AMAZING! Gracious, accommodating, kind, and professional! I had a COVID wedding and we ended up having to cancel the larger festivities for a small outdoor ceremony with 10 family members. I cannot tell you enough how amazing Marissa, Nazila, and their seamstress have been. We made some major changes to my dress and I was SO happy with how everything turned out after all my fittings. That dress fit me like a glove at the very end, and at the very same time I was so comfortable in it.

Tailor Made did an incredible job with my wedding dress and I will return to them for any future tailoring needs. I purchased my dress from a sample shop so I needed multiple alterations to make it fit to my liking. Marissa was detailed and took her time to understand my vision.
Ultimately I wanted to change the sleeves into more of an off-shoulder look and have the dress taken in and hemmed. I was in a bit of a pinch due to my original tailor (NOT from Tailor Maid) butchering my wedding dress. I had ended up buying a new wedding dress with less than a month before my wedding and needed a few alterations done, but many tailors were unwilling to accommodate on such short notice. Not all heroes wear capes. Marissa was absolutely fabulous to work with for my wedding dress alterations! This stuff is not cheap but I'm truly glad I made the investment with the Tailor Maid team. I bought a sample dress a couple sizes too big, so it needed a substantial amount of altering. It took quite a few appointments, but Marissa was happy to accommodate and make sure I walked away feeling stunning in my dress. Very highly recommended!

Cannot thank Tailor Maid enough! I had 2 weeks to spare for alterations before my wedding and they made it happen! After my consultation they walked me through timing, pricing and how difficult the alterations were going to be. Even with my lace dress I felt at ease right away.
