Services
A native of the Pacific Northwest and has lived here nearly her entire life. She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She attended Loma Linda University. School of Dentistry and in 2002 received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and began practicing in Lake Stevens.
From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Dr. Garnes is equipped to handle all of your dental needs. An initial oral examination includes a visual examination that is supplemented by digital x-rays that will enable us to determine all treatment recommendations. Any services we don't provide in the office are referred to amazing specialists.
Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call one of our scheduling coordinators to make an appointment with one of our amazing dentists. The individual nature of each patient's treatment makes it necessary to schedule for a specific length of time. Our policy is to bill your insurance carrier as a courtesy to you.

Worst dental experience I've ever had. I've always been good about going to the dentist twice a year every year but since I moved, I decided to check out this place. Out of nowhere, I suddenly had 8 cavities and since my insurance max could only cover so much, I decided to just do half of them this year. One of the fillings hurt for over a week, so they "shaved it down" to help the sensitivity. It still hurt for over a week so they shaved it down some more. The pain continued, so they took another x-ray and saw there was a crack in the filling. They made it sound like they were doing me a favor

Good adult dentist horrible for kids. Missed 2 serious cavities with my 5 yr old. When they found the cavities they told us to go to a pediatric dentist we ended up needing to have 1 tooth pulled the other one filled my other concern is there is a different dentist there all the time I don't know why but the high turn over rate seems like a bad sign and I like to see a familiar face when it's concerning my health.

The office is always clean and looks brand new. The staff are friendly and professional. I've been coming here a long time and every hygienist that I've encountered had great skill, gentle hands, and good conversation. They're able to answer all my questions and the prices are good for no insurance.

Not a fan of this dentist from the beginning. Have had 3 cleanings and each time I go in I have a "cavity" on a new tooth. But I have had no issues in my mouth. Then when my insurance updated they neglected to inform me that they were out of network until I got a print out and a bill from my insurance company. This office is all about the dollar. They don't care about the patients or the truth just about how much money they can make off of someone. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! Plus, I'm pretty sure I do a better job at flossing my own teeth than the hygienist.

We switched to Dr. Garnes when we moved to Lake Stevens 6 years ago and couldn't be happier. The staff, from the receptionists, hygienists, and dentists are all very friendly. Unlike most dentists turnover is minimal as we look forward to the same faces every 6 month. Most importantly though, we trust them and know our dental needs are in good hands and have never felt anything was pushed on us. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a consistent, reliable, and positive dental experience.
