Ronald A. Krueger, MD, FAACS specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery of the face and neck. As one of just a handful of surgeons in Washington state, he has been awarded the title of Fellow from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. My philosophy is to provide my patients with natural-appearing results, not a surgically altered appearance.
My approach to patients is highly personal and utilizes the latest techniques. Patients are treated like family and are respected in regards to their times and needs. All consults are thorough and designed to identify the root cause. An individual treatment plan is then created for each patient with a variety of options.
Botulinum toxin is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by facial expressions (frowning, squinting, smiling, and the like) by injecting it into the muscles underlying the affected area. In turn, the lack of muscle contraction prevents the face from forming lines and wrinkles.
The loss of elasticity can lead to loosening and wrinkling of the facial skin. Sun exposure, weight fluctuations and heredity can all contribute to a loss of skin elasticity. The muscles of the neck may also weaken creating loose skin on the chin or neck. A facelift firms and tightens the skin of the face and neck all in one step.
There are currently many lasers on the market that claim to be the cure-all when it comes to cosmetic use. No wonder the average consumer is confused! This laser treats broken capillaries and very dark brown pigmented areas. It loves the color red and dark brown. Light freckles do not respond to this laser as they are too light in color to attract the laser beam.
