I went there for a idle issue and my drive shaft bearing they told me later without my permission that I had a bad timing belt the mechanic went and opened up the timing cover without my permission the mechanic should always ask permission first before he starts messing with things and then later tell me I have a bad timing belt how do I know if be didn't mess with it I don't feel comfortable any more after that the customer service was excellent by Ben very polite respectful and that is all I have good to say but will not be going back..

Not a good mechanic shop to go, I took my 2009 VW EOS for preventive care before a long road trip, (the car was running just fine before I met this shop). I was expecting just to change the spark plugs, check the breaks and correct a few minor stuff that could go wrong during my road trip. They made a complete different diagnose and ended up paying more than 2000$ for a water pump change, timing belt, and some other stuff, Im not even sure the car even needed those things; Ever since the car left this shop it has been giving me problems every single day, the counter person who works there is a

This was my first visit to JR's and will definitely not be my last! Betty met me with a smile and took all of my information. I went for a walk while waiting for my car to be serviced and Finn called me a couple of times to keep informed of their progress. Very professional, courteous and budget friendly. Although this time it was only an oil change, I plan to return to have some additional repairs completed.

I love this place. My normal place told me they would not be able to fit my 70's era VW in for months, if at all. JR's was able to look at my car within two days and diagnosed the issue promptly all for a fair price.
The staff is welcoming and friendly.
Update: came back after buying some new tires for my VW Thing. JR was able to balance the tires since the Tire shop was unable to do so because of the older wheels. JR had an adaptor to get the tires on the high speed balancer and was able to get to it immediately. I love this place.
