I've used multiple pharmacies for my pets. Saveway has the most compassionate and helpful people there. The pharmacist will do anything he can to help you make things right for your pet. They give advice and suggestions and truly just want the best for your pet. I've received advice on how to ship my medications to it's cheaper as well as had people calm me down from after my vet appointment to make sure things go right for my pets. I cannot recommend this place enough. They go above and beyond. They must be tired and stressed and yet never once have shown it on the phone. This pharmacy should

Left the vet at 12:30 today, went there to the pharmacy, went inside to ask how long it will be for the medicine couldn’t give me a definite time, so I said I would wait, sat in my car for an hour and a half with my dog so I wouldn't have to come back out there later, went back inside after waiting that long and asked again and still wouldn’t give me a time when it might be ready, so I came home and at 5:49 this evening 10 minutes before they closed I get a call saying that my dogs medicine was ready to be picked up, you tell me how I’m going to get there in 10 minutes from new castle, I

This was only my second time getting a prescription at Safeway, but the rudeness of the staff has been consistent. It's in the sarcastic tone that feels demeaning, and I don't want to be treated like that, especially when I'm not well. I won't be going back, which is a shame for the Pharmacists whose livelihoods the staff is hurting.

We have been using this pharmacy for years because they are SPECTACULAR! You can call in a refill in the afternoon and it shows up on your doorstep the next morning! If you prefer to pick it up in person, they are extremely fast, efficient and friendly. (That's the way I used to do it before I found out how easy the mail-refills were!)

My veterinarian called in a prescription for my sick, dying cat at 9:30am. 11am someone called me from the office to ask for payment so they could fill the prescription. She said someone would call me when it was ready. I got off work at 3pm and I still hadn't received a phone call. Around 3:30pm I called because I thought maybe I had heard wrong. Surely it wasn't taking 4 hours to fill a prescription. The person on the other end answered and said she would check real quick. She came back and said it had been made, just waiting on the pharmacist to check it. I asked if it would be ready today because

This was our first time using this pharmacy as well as a first time use of a specific drug. The staff recognized my son was starting on too high a dose, and suggested we contact his Dr. I called the pharmacy a couple of times, each time they answered my questions thoroughly and with patience. I spoke with pharmacist when I arrived for a couple more questions. She was knowledgeable, professional and compassionate.

I have been dealing with Saveway for years re. my pet Nacho's prescriptions. When ever I called they went above and beyond to see that his meds were sent out the same day. When i called last week to let them know I would not be needing the meds any longer, since at 14 years of age, our sweet Nacho passed, I received sincere sympathy over the phone. A few days later we received a sympathy card with everyone's signature. It meant so much to us, since Nacho was part of our family.
Our own vet, (14yrs) did not acknowledge his death and offer any condolence. Thank you SaveWay...you

I have been going here for years, first for my dig's medicine and now for my cat's thyroid medicine. My cat hates taking medication, but they make his medicine in a treat form and he actually does take it now. Well, mostly. The staff here is always very friendly and willing to help if you need it. I also know a human who used them for her medicine compounding needs.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone needing mess for their pet or even themselves and the other humans in their lives.

The folks at this pharmacy are AWESOME!! What they can do with medicine is absolutely amazing. After spending a fortune on my very sick cat, I was informed he needed to be on azithrowmycin for 6 weeks. This stuff is the most nasty tasting medicine and attempting to deliver it to a very ill kitty was futile. They were able to put this medicine in a transdermal gel that I apply to the skin on the inside of his ears and after 1 week, he was up and playing... Actually even had an appetite again. Calvin, Carol and the whole staff are patient, informative and utterly fantastic. Will continue to
