Northside Pharmacy was established in 2009 by a local pharmacist with the desire to provide every patient with the medication they need in a quick and efficient manner. David Ayres is the face of Northside Pharmacy. He has been a pharmacist in the Elkton area for over 45 years. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 1971 and is an active member of the Maryland Pharmacists Association, National Community Pharmacists Association, and American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.

NORTHSIDE Pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever used & I’ve used many over the years all over the country. Dave, one of the owners & a head pharmacist, used to go the extra mile for his customers & go above & beyond to ensure they were taken care of. He knew all the customers by their first name & would say hi & make you feel like it was truly your “friendly neighborhood pharmacy” whenever you came in. But things have changed drastically. Now when my mom tells him something she knows for a fact is covered by Medicare, he simply says, “no it’s not, you’re wrong.” He doesn’t

Very professional and so pleasant. You are not just a number with them. I had a difficult situation where none of the major chains (CVS, Walgreens and Walmart) carried my medicine as they did not carry it. One offer to order it but it might take 30 days. Out of desperation I came across North Side Pharmacy. Not only did they carry medication they also could fill my future refills. They took my insurance and I am a happy customer.

Where to start.1. If you need a PA good luck. Out of respect the pharmacy should call you and inform you. Which all other pharmacy do. How hard is it to pick up the phone and call the patient .2 My doctor faxed over a script for my daughter on the 29 of June and I picked it up a few days later and I was told nothing was faxed. The lady found it after she put in my daughter dob. So it sat there for four days. 3 My brother and father have the same name and can you believe they gave me my fathers med even after I told her his dob. Thank God I look at the bag before I left. Father is 1961 brother 1987

Always so friendly, helpful and fast. I have gone to other pharmacies to pick up other family and friends prescriptions and I have got to say that Northside is the best pharmacy in our area I wouldn't go anywhere else. The pharmacist is always friendly and smiling. The pharmacist is very helpful with any questions I've always had if there's ever a problem they are quick to fix it.

I have been a long time customer of the “other pharmacy “. I knew Mr. Dave from before. He was great there and he is great here at N S pharmacy. I have had cause to get help from the front of the pharmacy to the back of the pharmacy. I have been in need of medical supplies and everyone has been very nice and professional. I even received a email wishing me happy birthday from Dave and the employees.This is a great place. I would ask that one needs to remember we are all human beings. We have good and bad days, no one is perfect!! Enjoy the service that you receive! Good day...

Dave and his group are wonderful. They take the time to help you understand about your medication, plus if there is medication you can take OTC they will help you understand what you need and how it helps. They can get there meds in overnight so that aren’t without should it be a special medication needed that they don’t normally cover or need more of. To us, they are like an extension of family.

Great mom & pop pharmacy. Mr Dave never fails to remember me. They treat me with respect, kindness and the utmost privacy. Dave and the other pharmacists never have any problem answering any questions I may have. They also always fill my scripts quickly and accurately. I've never had to wait more than 10-15 min.
