Mariela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 2003. She then attended Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she received several scholarships and awards including the Hispanic Law Society Leadership award.
Immigration laws are complex and are constantly changing. Even after the new Immigration Reform takes effect, for years there will be confusion about how to interpret the law. The H-1B visa is among several categories of visas available to U.S. employers who wish to temporarily employ foreign nationals in the U.S. H-1B professionals are classified as such by USCIS if they meet the statutory definition of a "specialty occupation". At the minimum, the H-1B beneficiary should have a bachelor's degree (or its equivalent*) and a valid job offer in the U.S. within the specialty field.

Do not come here. My parents were scammed by SUSANNE CIPOLLA-OLMOS, the attorney, the business card down below. This group allowed for this lawyer to take advantage of people. It's immoral. They will not help you, just promise and charge you before they deliver.

UPDATE:
Looks like my case has been approved.
I was assigned to another lawyer, again, assuming Mr. Root was my lawyer.
I'm at abt $4000 for my immigration case, all paid.
Next step is filing for the GC, apparently that wasn't included in the $4000. Hefty rates/fees.
To file for GC, for government alone it's $1225.
I'm glad my case was approved, but I had to put in a lot of work myself.
Law firm didn't catch one mistake either, glad USCIS accepted our apologies-after all, their reputation is much worse than they are.
Will have phone call w/Mr Root soon abt additional "

Finally I found a time to write a review for the amazing work that the Root Law Group have done. I have moved to the US as a student. I couldn't find a good lawyer to help me with my paperworks. Wow wow wow! I wish I can give them more one stars. I also have to add dislikes Please DO NOT go to this place. There are so many professional lawyers and law firms not this place though. They will take your money absolutely do NOTHING. All they care about is your money. I agree with Anthony E ! You know what I'll just repeat his words! This firm is just a SCAM and they charge thousands of dollars just filling out applications. They absolutely have no any different approach. You will never feel connected with them personally.
