I dropped off a selection of 7 of my husbands' button-down and Hawaiian shirts for cleaning and received the items 7 days later. The items were returned in perfect, starched condition, however I would have expected items such as these to be returned in a more timely manner. Thankfully, we were not in a hurry to return these items, however -- consider inquiring about cleaning time if you happen to be! Overall -- pleased with our items and happy with service.

Bertha is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! She is super talented, knowledgeable, and is truly an artist when it comes to alterations. She has a distinct sense of how to restructure clothing to make it fit best, and is super candid, which I loved! DO NOT RECOMMEND! This woman is a thief. She charged me $300 alterations, which was more expensive then the two dresses I brought in. When I argued this price with her, she said that she always provides an estimate on the ticket. However I provided her with my ticket and there was no price. She wouldn't budge, and this was grossly overpriced. I will never return, and I do not recommend anyone here unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. I feel like I've been taking advantage of and totally disrespected.

Bertha is a miracle worker! I took my suit to another place and they basically told me that nothing could be done to alter it. However when I took it to Bertha, she came up with a creative plan, and executed it to perfection. And on top of that, she had it done that same day! Could not be happier with the results and level of service. Bertha you rock!

YESSSS, my alterations prayers have been answered! Maison De Couture was recommended by a relative who has been living in Miami for some time, and has been coming here for 20+ years. If you've read any of my other reviews you know that I have The Worst luck when it comes to finding places in Miami that are trustworthy and where the people speak English. Most recently I had taken a pair of pants to another alterations/dry cleaning establishment and they "lost" my pants (they were later found, but not the point). The experience with Bertha at Maison De Couture was the exact opposite

I am so happy I chose this establishment for both my wedding and other dresses! Bertha,the owner, is nothing short of magic. She altered my dresses so that everyone at my sister's wedding told me how beautiful I looked and how they loved my dress! I first used Maison De Couture a few years ago for a dress alteration. We recently moved very close and went back when my husband needed a pair of pants altered for a wedding. Both experiences were solid!
We came in without an appointment and were seen right away. The owner worked quickly to measure the pants and said we could pick them up that same week. Everything turned out solid and the price is fair for simple alterations.
It's located on the bottom floor of a stripmall on Red Road. Parking has been easy to find right in front!

Bertha is amazing!! I came in to hem my wedding dress, she pretty much redesigned the dress. I so appreciated her advise and skill, the dress went from pretty to absolutely stunning. I love my dress!

I've been using Bertha for about four years now to adjust and maintain the variety of oddball 1970's jackets I dig up at Goodwill. I've always been most pleased with the work, and she puts up with all my extremely specific requests.
My penchant for polyester Levis 517 trousers has me coming back frequently, as every NWOT pair I find are always one inch too large for me. Thanks to Bertha's team, they're all perfect now. Plus, I always have my trousers done with a somewhat pronounced guardsman's slant (hemmed notably higher in front than in back to keep the crease in front from bunching), and while

(Words from my wife) I want to thank Maison de Couture for their fabulous work on my dress I was nervous having my $900.00 dress altered because I needed the dress taken in and fitted for the the bottom half of the dress, hemmed shorter and the zipper at the back which was difficult to get a perfect fix because it stuck out at the bottom and wouldnt lay flat. Bertha did a great job on my dress and were professional and very attentive to myself and my dress needs. Thank you Berthica! I will be back soon!

If you need to tailor your clothes with someone who is extremely detail oriented and experienced with all types of garments, Bertha at Maison De Couture is who you need to visit. For starters, my husband is extremely particular with the way his clothes fits him. He has takes Betha the most difficult, expensive pieces of clothes where only Bertha can be trusted. He has an athletic build, broad shoulders and narrow waist. He had Bertha take in a leather jacket which can be extremely intricate and delicate to work on. It came out absolutely perfect. I came here based on the positive reviews. I had a bridesmaid dress that I wanted to add hanging sleeves to and a one piece black dress where I needed to reduce the poofiness of the top. They were able to fix both with a quick turnaround and did a great job. The lady remembered me when I walked in and brought the dresses out immediately. She wanted to see both on me to make sure it came out perfectly. Great service and great work!

NEVER AGAIN I'm going to that place, and I highly recommend that no one else does either. The completely ruined a new leather skirt still with the tags on, and Berta (the owner) treated me like I was crazy. The skirt was a very expensive one, and all they needed to do was make it a little shorter. They cut to much, making too short and uneven. The front was longer than the back. TOTAL DISASTER!!!I lost my skirt, my money, and she didn't care!!! Worst tailor ever!!!!
