Rehabilitation is the necessary first step of recovery which the patient receives during the initial hours of recovery from surgery or injury. Physical therapy is a type of treatment that can improve functions of the body to help a person move better, restore fitness, improve physical function, and to decrease pain.
Peripheral neuropathy is the result of damaged or dysfunctional peripheral nerves that send incorrect or incomplete signals to your brain and spinal cord. It can cause pain, weakness, and numbness in the areas of injury. Nerve injuries affecting one nerve is called mononeuropathy. An example of mononeuropathy is carpal tunnel syndrome, which is caused by compression of the median nerve in the wrist.
Joints are the places where two or more bones come together. Joints are made up of protective cartilage and fluid that cushion and provide lubrication - allowing the bones to move without friction. Joint pain is widespread - knee, shoulder, and hip pain being the most common - and can be caused by a number of conditions, such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, and injuries such as breaks, sprains, and strains.

Excellent professional care with everyone on-board to make the patient experience as pleasant as possible. Sunny dispositions from the receiptionist and Nurse added to the professionalism as they gathered medical detail and listened to me.

I just had a virtual visit the other day with Dr. Rubinfeld.
He is an excellent overall Doctor Who listens carefully..
He really knows the art of helping people with chronic pain.
My wife and I are very glad we came across Dr. Rubinfeld.
We’ve been seeing him probably over 10 years now..
The injections he gives are fantastic for nerve pain when it becomes a chronic issue.

Dr P, Rubinfeld is a great Doctor who sits there with you and listens to your complains and explains to you the medication he is providing for you. I suffer from chronic pain and he takes his time explaining to you, the options he has for you and with his patience to explain it to you. He is a very professional Dr who I recommend to anyone with pain issues.

Dr. Polesin resolved my inflammation after seeing numerous Pain Management Doctors, gave me my fitness life back! I can sleep better, drive in cars better, and sit in a chair at a restaurant better! Wonderful experience from check in forward , but getting into the building was much farther than I was lead to believe by the appointment desk. It is a far walk with a steep incline for people with disabilities. My husband and I didn’t know where wheelchairs were located - there were no signs posted in the building. Dr. Polesin were great! She listened to 40 years of my back history. Dr. Polesin is kind, knowledgeable and extremely straightforward which I appreciated. I have found myself a new doctor for my spinal injections. Also, on arrival, we went down a driveway the wrong way. How are you

Dr Polesin was extremely thorough and spent sufficient time with me and my mom. She asked key questions to understand our pain and reviewed the approach we would take for treatment. Lastly, she was caring and so very pleasant. Dr Polesin holds data gathering and getting at root causes as a driver for prescribing the appropriate treatment plan. She is an A+ Super doctor, my mom and I were confident leaving our appointment and know we are in good hands with Dr Polesin.
