My friend and I went in on a Sunday afternoon (11/7/21) and no other customers were there so we were taken in immediately. That’s probably the only positive.
The workers looked straight at us discriminately and rolled their eyes at us. They made us pay before we even got our massages. When the massage was in session, the language barrier between us didn’t allow for communication of any sorts. I also question if they have ever been trained as a massage therapist/masseurs. I did the 1-hr massage. she was incredibly good but the reason i gave her 3 stars is because she would not let me leave without giving her a tip. i ended up giving her a $10 tip because I was going to grab some cash from my car anyway but she insisted that i tip her via credit card payment even though i had told her i preferred cash. there is a slight language barrier so i dont fully blame her because maybe she didn’t understand me. please be nice to her

My husband and I went in for a couple massage. They charged us $120 before our massage. When we were ready to leave they charged us us another $60 plus tip. When we told her how much to add for tip they both were upset and demanded/begged for more. We always tip 20% or more depending on service. The massage wasn't good they spent 30 minutes just scratching our heads. They talked during the whole time and answered the phone at least 3 times having full blown conversations.

I received a gift card for my birthday. There was no phone number on the gift card, and when I typed in the name of the place listed on the gift card it didn't show up(sidenote, the gift card also had printed on it, DOES NOT EXPIRE, but had a month time period hand written in). The wife and I were looking for a last second couples massage, we called a few places that had no availability. Boy were we lucky they didn't. We called NDC Spa and the lady said she could get us in right away. I was kind of nervous but the reviews on Google were really good besides two. I think the communication on the phone was the reason for the two bad reviews, the lady was short and to the point. I like that though. I have been going to the establishment for many years and this last experience was very very disappointing. The masseuse didn't speak any English at all and we had to communicate through her phone to translate our conversation. She was so concerned with how I was going to pay her and what was worse was she was asking how much I was going to tip her. She even asked how much have I tipped in prior services. I've been going to NDC spa for a few months now. First and foremost, the establishment itself is very calm, clean and relaxing. The manager Lee is very sweet and professional. We went in looking for a foot massage and they sold us a full body massage and the foot massage as an add on?! The body massage was good but the foot massage was weak. They asked if we wanted a room together to which I said "that would be nice" but then she said they couldn't. We didn't experience our ladies walking out but you could clearly hear one of them talking outside. Ok so now the weird part... I just attempted to support this business called first to see if there where any available appointment given the current pandemic and was not greeted over the phone in the most positive way but still decided to see because of the numerous positive reviews. I initially informed the owner to expect me around 4:30 and unfortunately could not make it in do to other circumstances. I come in to the Spa around 5:45 simply asking if there was any availability now that I have been about to take care of my issue only to be scolded from that moment on. I've had professional massages before, but it has been a while. I found myself in desperate need the other day ( new medical condition that affects my bones and muscles, in addition to unexpected mega-stress lately) and chose NDC bc of their reviews and location. First time here today. The atmosphere is really relaxing. I got the whole body massage for $60.00. The lady was nice, but she was interrupted twice during my massage by customers. Apparently she was the only one there. They lady was able to feel my knot on my shoulder blade and massaged it very deep. The deep tissue was a but painful, and even now my body is extremely sore. Perhaps next time, I will ask for a more soft massage.

Best deep tissue massage place I've found in the San Antonio area. The therapists are very strong and thorough with their massages...they really dig into your body, which I love. I feel so relaxed after each session. The massages I receive here are nothing like the flimsy rub downs I've received elsewhere, including fancy and expensive spas. The only reason I excluded a star is because they do not have a receptionist and so a therapist will often walk out during the massage to answer the door or phone. Ok. I know most of the time these services are not provided by trained and licensed massage therapists... There's a reason why it's cheap and available in an instant.... The 'foot Massage' that I got today was total crap. Maybe 30 minutes of fast paced random scrubbing, poking and shoving a massage tool onto over lotioned, slippery skin that just slid off and then stabbed into bone. Massage was good but what ruined it for me was the lady who was doing my massage walked out FOUR times because someone came in during my hour. This took away from my massage and my relaxation. I was also irritated she expected a tip if I didn't leave a tip that means there is a reason. We have them 10% to be nice and she was still rude. I enjoyed the relaxation with my husband but for $120 I'd appreciate having a massage with someone who stays in the room the entire hour.
