I called American Auto Recycling to see if they had a gearbox for my silverado before arriving & they did. J.R was cool enough to set it aside for me. 2 hours later I stop by to purchase and sure enough they had it ready to go! Upon arrival you can tell all the men & women working there are busy since its a auto parts type of environment, so if you want to be helped out speaking up with a firm voice is how you'll get assistance quicker than usual. The part I bought was obviously used. It came with 1 year warranty and Advanced Auto parts and Autozone wanted more than 3X the amount for a remanufactured

This place has used car parts that are always ready to go for your convenience unlike other places where you have to wait for them to pull the part and call you back. Have ordered multiple car parts here and their pricing isn't the cheapest but they are competitive. It is their availability and the fact that they are in the East Valley that makes them desirable. Would definitely recommend this spot for used car parts as they come with a warranty and I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Second day in a row----The guy that answers the phone is a complete d*** head... never in my life have I had such bad customer service when I'm trying to give them my business. He's such a angry man that it's funny. Ask him a question about the part your trying to buy and he'll take out all his problems he has at home on you lmao. I hope he's at least the owner of the place so it's his business he looses and not on account of someone else's .. sheesh

They've got a lot of stuff there. But for having such a name you'd think they'd help Veterans out a bit on the prices... I bought a rim, a single rim, and it was not in the best of shape mind you, and it was $75. Factory rim for a 03 Corolla, i got 3 elsewhere with tires for $30... They've got what you need I'm sure, but you'll pay for it!

I was referred here by Service King (on Elliot in Gilbert; great customer service btw). Terrible customer service at American Auto Recycling. Guy sitting at computer seems miffed I was bothering him. I inquired about a trim part and he stated in an irritated tone, "we don't sell that separate from the fender" as if to say, a stupid customer.

Super Organized Salvage Yard!
So I called in from four hours away to get a fender for one of my trucks. They said they had a good one in stock so I made the journey down and came to see the most organized auto salvage house I've ever seen in my life as far as amazing utilization of super clean warehouses parts!
All of the staff that I dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful.
I would've given them five stars but these issues each claimed a star:
1. The fender I came down for was damaged with lots of significant scratches and even rust staring in Sone scratches. So the trip was

I needed an AC compressor for my 69 Bug. Rather than spend an arm and a leg for a new, aftermarket compressor, I thought I'd give them a call and see if I could find one used. A young man with a baritone voice and a hint of country twang answered my call.
