We had a wonderful 1st pointe shoe fitting at Dance Etc. They had everything we needed and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back!

Woman at the front (seemed like the owner) was cold as ice. No customer service despite the store being empty. Seemed like she couldn't be bothered with my questions. This is the first time signing my daughter up for any type of dance and I didn't know what I needed and she was not helpful, but instead corrected me on the terms I was using. Items are legitimate so maybe if you aren't a professional dancer she doesn't want to waste her time on you? Not so sure but won't be back here again.

We travel the country and have visited many Dance Shops.
We have been fitted for shoes in NYC and Los Angeles.
I can honestly say that no experience has compared to the service, expertise and professionalism offered here.

I had my husband go into the store to look for a very specific item for our daughter, a metallic leotard. The sales clerk was very rude and was not helpful at all. She questioned him about why he was looking for the item and acted like it wasn’t a reasonable ask. It’s possible that race was a factor because he was also not properly greeted. Thankfully, they did not have the item as they obviously did not deserve our business.

We moved to Raeford NC from Raleigh and I still drive to have Danea fit my daughter for her pointe shoes. She is amazing to work with, I can’t say enough great things about her. My daughters first fitting, they probably tried on probably 20 pair of shoes before Danea found the right ones. That tells you how much she cares and wants to make sure you have the right pointe shoe for your foot. If you go anywhere else for a fitting, you will be sorry!

My daughter and I had such a great experience there yesterday. You can definitely see that they care about their dancers. The store has everything you need! I will definitely be back.

Both my daughters have been dancing since they were toddlers and we have bought shoes and dance supplies from plenty of dance shops. Dance Etc. is by far the very best we have ever shopped--both with inventory available as well as customer service. Pointe shoe fitting here is reason enough not to shop anywhere else! What a breath of fresh air! We have never had such a comprehensive fitting from beginning to end with such a knowledgeable person doing the fitting for my girls! Our fitting for pointe shoes was our first experience with Dance Etc. and they did not disappoint. Very professional and thorough with complete communication with the dancer being properly fitted. This was not an average shoe fitting and rightly so.

This shop, it’s owner, and her employees are super friendly. They each are very helpful and informative. They take time to go above and beyond to answer questions of the dancer and extended guests. It’s a Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. This place is inspiring for dancers of all ages. Frances specifically requests to drive the extra distance to this shop bc of the care and attention she receives each and every time we have been here. A real Gem.

As a business owner myself, I was disappointed with our experience overall. Things were great at first, but went downhill a week later. We received awesome service when purchasing our 3yr old daughter's second pair of ballet slippers and first pair of tap shoes, and although it was pricey we were happy because our little one was thrilled. They even gave her a little magic wand that she's carried around with her since! Then a couple days later, our dance studio went out of business without warning due to COVID, after registration fees had been paid. We tried without any luck to find her

My kids have been visiting this store for about four or five years at this point. I feel that the staff as a whole, and of course Danae, are excellent at fitting shoes. I have never felt upsold, had my kids incorrectly sized, etc. It is clear they have the integrity to give them precisely what they need to function as dancers. They are very knowledgeable and communicative about why certain shoes work or won't work. I feel they go above and beyond to the point that we pass by many many stores to travel here for fittings.

1st time visit today and the store was excellent! Beautiful selection of dancewear for children! The staff was extremely nice, helpful and professional. You can also try-on which is a plus.Top notch costumer service which is rare these days!

Excellent selection of dance and figure skating apparel. The staff are dancers so their advice is spot on. Trust these women to fit the shoes beautifully. Dance etc. Stocks for the local studios in clearly marked sections- no need to hint and peck. They also keep a record of your purchases so you can easily reorder items you have purchased before.
