Nearly everyone faces skin issues at various times of life. As an outdoor enthusiast and active runner, cyclist and skier, I know it can be hard to live in Colorado and care for your skin. Prior to my 20+ years of professional experience, I struggled with teenage acne, cystic acne, and eczema. Then like so many others in Colorado's dry, sunny climate, I faced additional challenges like hyperpigmentation, premature aging, and dry, dehydrated skin.
Determined to do something about it, I decided to give up the corporate world and become an esthetician. I knew I could turn my own experience with skin malaise and a lifelong passion for putting clients first into a unique practice that helps you get tangible results. My educational background includes a Certificate of Esthetics from Denver School of Botanical Aesthetics and a B.A. from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Cathy is amazing! I moved to Boulder a few months ago and I tried a few facials at other places around town. Cathy wins. She asks what your concerns are regarding your skin and addresses them. The quality of her service never waivers; she explains her process and always asks if you have any questions. My skin is SO much healthier since I began seeing her. A visit to Cathy is a blissful experience. Try it, you will go back. Thanks Cathy!

I'm not normally a person who has facials (except on special occasions), but Cathy has converted me! Isla Spa is tucked in the back of the salon, but is every bit a spa--relaxing atmosphere with tea and a nice waiting room. Cathy uses high-quality products (Dr. Hauschka and some others I've only seen at my dermatologist) and has a gentle, caring approach. She let me know everything that was happening BEFORE it happened--no being startled by an unexpected spritz. My favorite part is the light "massage" while my mask was drying. So incredibly relaxing! The hour just flew by..
