Services
Founded in 1991 by two child psychiatrists, Southampton Psychiatric Associates provides comprehensive mental health services in a caring and professional setting in a convenient location for residents of Philadelphia, eastern Montgomery County, and lower and central Bucks County. Excellent care is available for children, adolescents, adults, and older individuals as well as families and couples.
In addition to offering various types of therapy, our three psychiatrists treat mental health problems with medication when appropriate. Medication treatment is often recommended in conjunction with psychotherapy. The psychiatrists collaborate closely with the therapists in the practice and also work with therapists in the community.
Although not all of our providers are participating with all of the above insurances, our staff will assist you in determining which providers are participating with your particular network. Many insurance companies do provide reimbursement if you chose to use out-of-network services. Itemized receipts are given at the time of service for those patients to submit to their particular plan.

Very uneasy about the circumstances to which I require this type of Doctor. I finally reach out for %$#@ help. Took A LOT to ask for help. Was told no. Why? Because I don't have the covid shot. Don't have a flu shot either. Discrimination against the un"vaccinated" is a real thing, Did not expect that from a medical professional I believe that is in violation of code of ethics

As caregiver for my brother with Parkinson's, we were unable to see Dr., at office, for 18 months due to pandemic. Zoom was not an option.
Now that they are seeing patients again I was told since they have not seen my brother in over a year he was no longer a patient and they were not accepting new patients.
My brother had a great relation with doctor but now we have to search for a new psychiatrist.
Dropping my brother, in these times of stress, is unforgivable.

Dr. Masood is wonderful! I am very pleased with her. Dr. Masood is very caring and knowledgeable - an outstanding doctor in my opinion. I have seen her for almost 3 years. In addition to the quality of her service, I like that she does not insist that I schedule more appointments or longer appointments than necessary. In other words, she treats me as a valued patient, not a profit center.
Some have given a one-star review based solely on one interaction by phone with the office staff. (Another has no comment at all). Of course it is fair to comment negatively if you have a negative experience
