We are an official training center gym of The Okinawan IsshinRyu Karate and Kobudo Association (OIKKA). We offer one of the nicest and most complete Karate Dojos and training gym in Placer County and the Greater Sacramento Area.
Our Martial Arts Dojo includes two full-floors of sturdy built-in mats, full walls of 6 foot mirrors on each floor, four 100-pound hanging bags, a concession stand, a water bottle refill station, free WiFi, two locker rooms with showers, spectator seating, with even more free-standing bags, weapons, agility and strength training and sparring equipment for our students from Tiny Tigers (Ages 4-5), Little Dragons (Ages 5-6), Teens, and Juniors as well as Adults!

Services
Our children's classes are designed to enhance kids' ability to pay attention and follow directions. In the age of sensory overload, these are much needed skills for the young mind. Our Tiny Tigers and Little Dragons classes provide a safe, clean & fun atmosphere that keeps kids moving while having tons of fun!
We hold a major event almost every month. Some of our favorites are our Dojo Family Picnic, Halloween Party, and our annual Karate Campout to name a few! Alongside our special events we also hold training programs for active students. These include Kata workshops, In-House Tournaments, and extra skills like our Grappling Workshop.

I have been bringing my grandson there for a year now and his attitude and level of respect for others has improved. The Bennati moto brings home the more of using common sense before self defense which is such a good learning tool for children. The anti bullying and self defense hand in hand with respect for others is priceless. I plan to double his attendance in January. Such a great staff and I highly recommend this for kids of all ages.

Master Bennati and his staff are incredible! My boys started at the ages of 6 & 4, they are now 18 and 16. They have learned so many life lessons during their training at Bennati's.. self confidence, commitment, pride, kindness, honor and oh yea, they have both earned their black belts. We love Bennati’s Martial Arts Karate School. We’ve never seen our son so excited to go and participate. The instructors are kind and firm. They truly care about the kids. The receptionist is the sweetest lady and always makes you feel welcome. It’s a gem of a place and so are the people who run it. We are grateful for our karate school.

My daughter has been part of the Bennati's dojo family for several years. I say family because they truly are. The sensei's genuinely care about the students and equip them with self-discipline, confidence, and respect. The facility is top notch, lots of space, very clean, with excellent equipment. My son loves taking karate here! Everyone is so nice and it's a comfortable place to be while child is taking his class. I highly recommend them and know that people drive super far just to come here. My son and I have both made friends since he's started. It's a little bit of normalcy we desperately needed during this pandemic.

It doesn't get any better than Bennati's. These instructors truly love teaching others and sharing their knowledge. They get excited when you finally get a move correct and provide inspiration and motivation to continue growing your skills. Bennati's offers a work out that engages the full mind and body - something has always been a challenge for me when exercising. Karate is a practice I can take with me anywhere, exercise anytime - on the road, at home, anywhere. AWESOME DOJO! Bennati's has really boosted self confidence in my youngster. I love how dedicated each Sensei is to their students. They really work with the students to ensure they understand the basics and Katas. I appreciate that they teach the kids the karate character traits and give them examples of how to embrace these traits. This is a very family-oriented Dojo that likes to do activities for the families that are wholesome and fun. The students are held to a higher standard which is a great way to build character.

Bennati's has been awesome for my 4 year old son in the Tiny Tigers class. It helps to reinforce all the positive behaviors we're trying to teach him. He had to "earn" his white belt by doing 4 things at home for the week: 1. Look people in the eyes when they're talking 2. Put his toys away after playing with them 3. Put his dish in the sink after eating. He did all of them and asked if I could call his sensei to tell her because he was so proud of himself. We've been so happy with all of the sensei's and staff.

We began at Bennati's over a year ago when we started having behavior issues with our 5 year-old. The strict, but always kind instruction has left quite an impression. Our daughter has gone from spicy and short, to compliant and caring. I have watched as their mix of structure and behavioral training has impacted countless children. I have know Sensei Bennati for over 20 years. Not only has he been my instructor, but he taught both of my children for over 10 years. This is a family orentieted school. My son and I have trained with Master Bennati for 10 years or so. Because of Master Bennati's masterful way of teaching and his enthusiasm we are still engaged, still learning and loving our karate training. My son was just around 7 when he started and is now 17. I've trained with Master Bennati for more than 9 years. He's an excellent instructor and his school is a safe, fun environment open to anyone of any age/ability (starting around age 4). He will challenge you and encourage you and not let you give up. He cares about his students and has devoted his life and heart to mastering Isshinryu Karate. He's trained under Master Joslin and Grandmaster Adams, all excellent teachers each with their own lifetimes of devotion to Isshinryu. A real special opportunity at this school.
