Services
It is with great pride that we are an independent Jiu-Jitsu Academy that fosters an open door policy for our fellow brothers and sisters who also train in this great martial art. We offer complete Jiu-Jitsu instruction as taught by several Black Belt instructors including Jeff Correia (Owner), Nate Burnette, Toby Staley, and Nick Cannaday.

This place is truly amazing. They have a class for kids that are 13 and under which is really helpful to the kids. it is so much for the kids. They have another class for older kids and adults. Everyone there is so nice. They don't take no for an answer and push you to be your best. It is a great environment. If you are struggling during class, there will always be someone there to help you. I definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in taking a martial arts class.

Everyone is very welcoming right when you come in. All the students will gladly help you with all your questions with technique. The instructors are very articulate and patient, making it an amazing learning environment from beginners to advance. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to dive into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

Knowing nothing about Jiu Jitsu or martial arts, I began training at this gym about 3 years ago. The training partners are competitive, the instruction is cutting edge, everyone is down to earth and no one has an ego. If you're a beginner, watch out, this place is likely to spark an addiction. If you're a seasoned Jiu Jitsu player thats new to the area or looking for a change of pace, you only need to check out Synergy.

I am pretty new to the area and found this gym on yelp. They had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. They have a groupon where you can take 10 or 20 classes for a very discounted price. Overall, it's a great gym with very knowledgeable instructors and great people to train with. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. This is my first time training BJJ and I'm glad I found this place. Give Jeff a phone call and he'll fill you in on everything you need to know to get started. What are you waiting for?! Go now!

In just four months of taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, our daughter (age 7) has learned so much, and she LOVES it! All of the instructors are great with the kids - they're patient and attentive. They're great with kids of all ability levels and experience. Jeff, Ed, and the staff are to be commended. They go beyond making Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technical - they make it fun and engaging. We had been searching for the "right" Brazilian Jiu -Jitsu school for quite some time. After the first class of our free trial, we knew we had the Right place. Both our daughters ages 8 & 10 were hooked. The instructors are very patient & knowledgeable; allowing the children to learn quickly through correct repetition and safe hands-on experience. I looked at a few different schools for my daughter and took her to a few classes. She wasn't interested at all until we walked in to synergy. That was almost two years ago. My daughter absolutely loves jiu jitsu and I think that is a direct reflection on this school and its teachers. There are lots of coaches on the mat and they are great with the kids. I love that these kids have to earn their belts and that they are not receiving a new belt every other month. I highly recommend this school and jiu jitsu in general.

My son has been going in the kids class for around a year and he LOVES it! The teachers are fantastic and work very well with all of the children. They have all been patient, kind, understanding and create a fun environment while still being able to teach all of the kids and keep them focused. I am very grateful for the time and lessons they have taught my son, which in my opinion go far beyond just "doing moves". I would definitely recommend Synergy to anyone interested in getting in shape while learning a great form of self defense!

I highly recommend Synergy Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and has a positive attitude. Nate Burnett and Jeff Correia do a great job with the instruction and pay attention to detail. I have been there about a year, and have really enjoyed learning the art. It is a great workout and shedding 55lbs in the process is a great little bonus! Two of my children are in the Karate class taught by Ed Van Aelstyn. Synergy Jiu-Jitsu is a great place to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Rocklin and I would recommend it to anyone. Nate Burnette and Jeff Correia are knowledgeable and skilled instructors who can help people of all levels improve their game. Everyone in the school is respectful and friendly. Many of the students are active Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors. This would be a great choice for anyone interested in training in the area.

My experience at Synergy BJJ has been outstanding. They offer both kids and adult programs. A family atmosphere with a great group of men and women, very welcoming, no egos and always willing to help new students. The instruction under Nate Burnett and Jeff Correia is top notch. My daughters, 10 and 6, recently attended trial classes from Synergy. I wanted to make sure they liked it before signing them up. My girls really enjoyed the classes and can't wait to continue their training. The instructors are excellent with kids. The class is very organized and the facility is clean.
