Serious injuries usually have life altering consequences. Often, the impacts of a serious injury will run through every aspect of your personal and professional life. Coping with the physical limitations from the injury can be a difficult job within itself. At the same time, you are burdened with all the same work tasks and obligations that you had before the accident.
The results of a police investigation can be crucial. Usually the police will make a report of the accident which may include their personal judgment of who was at fault. They may also take photos and gather other evidence that will be useful in pursuing your claim. If you think you have been injured you should call the police and seek a medical evaluation immediately.
The roads of Southwest Colorado are famous for their scenic beauty-but also for the risks they pose. Before commercial truckers set out on Highway 160, they know that they must familiarize themselves with its many switchbacks and dangerous hairpin curves. Winter travel can be especially hazardous. In all seasons, however, the principle of "sharing the road" is especially important in and around Durango.

What seemed impossible occurred. Mr. Sumrall advocated for me in a records sealing procedure that seemed highly unlikely. He took on an assignment that no other attorneys in the area seemed to have experience or current accurate knowledge of. His service has been invaluable since our success with the records sealing.

A friend referred us to Marshall after I was injured in a car accident and we were very pleased with the outcome. I appreciate how he kept us informed at every stage and was always prompt in returning my calls. He is a good communicator and was very effective in negotiating the settlement we received and explaining how everything works. It took almost a year to get the settlement but we are very pleased with the outcome. I thought it was more than fair and definitely exceeded our expectations. If I need an attorney again in the future Marshall will be the first person I call.
