Dr. Wood is a credentialed oral health care professional, skilled in a variety of procedures to provide for your dental health care needs. He is also highly skilled in esthetic or cosmetic dentistry. He has completed four years at an American Dental Association accredited school, passed the National Dental Board Exams and the state board exams of several states in addition to Arizona.
Elizabeth Ewell D.M.D. - Dr. Ewell has loved dentistry from the beginning when she began assisting at age 18 in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. She soon saw the value in having a gentle touch and a personable heart when serving her patients. If there was option to selected 6/5 stars, I certainly would! Growing up, I was terrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Woods, Dr. Crane, Kris, and ESPECIALLY Lindalea make you feel like family. I recently saw Dr. Russell Crane for a new crown. I have trouble every time I have to get a crown because I grind my teeth so they have to fit my bite perfectly or I have terrible pain. The crown that Dr. Crane did for me was perfect on the first try! I think this is the only time I have not had to come back in for an adjustment. He is very friendly and personable, but he is also a great dentist. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Happy and satisfied with the services received at Dr. Wood’s office. I needed to have some bridge work replaced in the front of my mouth. I met with Dr. Wood for a consult and I walked out of his office with a plan of action and a date to return to begin the process. My first appointment, mid-June, was to remove the bridge and prepare a temporary, seemed simple. But to our surprise, especially mine, we came across a tooth that had decayed so bad that an emergency root canal had to be done. Incredibly professional and calming environment at this dentistry. Every concern I have has always been worked through with me so that I don't have nerves or feel any discomfort during procedures. First I want to say i was teetering on a 2 or 3 star, I went with 3, the betterment of the two because the office is very clean, staff is very nice, check in was a breeze, dental assistant was great, even Dr Woods was a nice man.
My less then 5 star was for the reason I came in, which was for a second opinion for recommended work from a different dentist of which I have already invested THOUSANDS into my teeth as the result of a car crash. Dr Woods office wanted to do a full examination with X-rays even though I arrived with full records and X-rays, this was a second opinion on a 3 tooth

I had an extremely professional and delightful experience. Usually dental visits can be filled with anxiety however, all of the office staff was extremely kind and helpful. My favorite part was meeting the very down-to-earth Dr. John Wood. As I was explaining my new tmj issues due to much added stress from my mom recently passing away, he told me about his story and the pain he endured as well from losing his mom as well. I felt an instant connection and that was very kind of him to open up and try to console me during my time of grief. I highly recommend this office for all of your dental

Dr Wood is exceptional. I had a very serious tooth infection and he saw me through it, including seeing me on a Saturday just to make sure I was heading in the right direction and not losing any ground. The entire staff is welcoming and it seems they enjoy working as a team. That is nice to experience these days.

Had my first visit with Dr Wood's office and I was impressed.
Everyone, from the office personnel, to his office assistant, and of course Dr Wood himself, showed professionalism, expert knowledge, & courtesy.
I was also impressed with how comprehensive his exam was. I'm 66 years old and have never had such a thorough Dental exam!
Highly recommended!

I have trusted my daughters to the care of Dr. Wood their entire lives. They are now 15 and 18 years old. I cannot find words good enough to describe our experiences with him. His staff, particularly his dental hygienist Mindy, was able to comfort my younger daughter from a very early age with serious dental anxiety to not only sit through regular dental examinations, but also recently through a few fillings. She's a "Special Needs" child, and the gentle encouragement of Dr. Wood's staff instilled in her the confidence to sit through the surgery with minimal anesthesia.

I'm writing this review for my mother, the widow of a dentist, she says the dentists there are both, through in their exams as well as their explanations of the procedures. The were very gentle, painless and understanding. The hygienist was also fantastic. Everyone took their time and were super easy to deal with.

I am the worst dental patient but everyone from the front office staff to Dr Ewell treated me with respect and dignity. It was my first visit there and since I'm such a phobic I was given a referral to a sedation dentist to take care of all my dental issues in one visit. I greatly appreciated that Dr Ewell recognized very quickly that she wouldn't be able to treat me and made other arrangements for me to get my toothache resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend this dental clinic even though I didn't actually have any work done.
