Due to medical issues and the dangers of the pandemic, needed to be able to find a doctor who could help me deal with severe eye issues in a safe and timely fashion and figure out a way to stay on track. Previous eye care physician in Hawley (yeah that big one across from the brewery) was so awful and unhelpful at the height of the pandemic. Dr. Dowling took every possible precaution, set us up with specialists, helped with getting medical treatment and prescriptions and took every care to make sure we were protected, safe and looked after in every possible way. Dr. Dowling and her team are amazing, kind, and patient. We have been visiting her office for years. I recently scheduled all 4 of my children at the same time for their visits. She cared for each of my children individually and made them all feel comfortable. They made sure to not overbook appointments and gave us all of her attention at the time we scheduled. They patiently helped 2 of my children pick out their new glasses that they are excited to receive this week! Of course her pup is always a hit when we go in for our visit. Thank you Dr. Dowling and team! Highly recommend!

For three years my hubby and I have seen Dr. Dowling. She gives you TIME and is unbelievably thorough. She truly cares for your eye health while still checking your overall health as relates to your vision. Lillian is just as caring. (And dearly amusing) All staff want you to be happy, comfortable and assist intensely when dealing with the new foibles of modern insurance. While awaiting your exam, it's like stopping in to a quick visit with the relatives. Yup, they are THAT nice. We trust our eyes 100% to Doc Dowling.
