Hillside RV Park and Campground is open year-round with 54 full hook up RV sites, and 110 water/electric sites.
Hillside Family Campground's rates are the best compared to other campgrounds in the area! Our guests get more bang for their buck due to the large spacious RV sites, some of which are pull-thrus. This is not a concrete and curbs campground! We are a true rustic style campground with a lot of trees that even a big rig owner is able to enjoy due to the large sites!
Additional guests will be an additional $3 per person per night. NO smoking in the cabins! Those without an RV are still able to enjoy the beautiful setting of Hillside Family Campground. Just rent of our rustic style cabins! Each one of our 7 cabins is unique! Depending on which one you rent, it could sleep 2 to 4 people!
Hillside Family Campground's clubhouse is a great place to have a reunion, wedding, family gathering, a meeting or a just a fun get together. This facility has a full kitchen available with a gas stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator, cooking utensils, A.C. and Heat. Inside the clubhouse will seat approximately 50 guests.
Hillside Family Campground has onsite storage! A huge advantage of renting one of our storage lots, is that there is always someone on the property to keep an eye on your RV. An RV can sit safely in our storage lot. Why haul your RV back and forth when escaping the cold? Not enough space at your house for your RV? Safe and sound right here and ready for your next escape from home!

My husband and I have camped for 16 years and I have to say that I was very disappointed in this campground, the roads to the camp sites were so bad and the over all look of the campground was run down. I belive this is mostly for extended stay camping. The area we were in was very loud with a man throwing knifes at wood all the time. People slaming their camper doors was the other problem.we also ask when we made the reservation that our daughter and son-in-law would be coming in the day after we arrived and we needed two campsite next to each other, but when we got there we had a camper in-between

You will never find another campground like Hillside. It is a beautiful secluded area where you realize you are quickly surrounded by so many amazing people. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of and really takes pride in his campground. Joyce and Jeff in the front office are easily the nicest people we met in Cochran and made us feel like we were part of a family immediately. The spots are spacious, the grounds are always clean, and you are surrounded by people who make you feel like a community. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Its a place to spent a night or two but we had sprayed for ants on everything touching the ground but we got ants in the RV cabinets by one tall blade of grass that was touching our dump handle. shower house was stinky like mold smell. no exhaust fan so it was hot. the shower head is directly over your head. the swimming pool was very nice. nearly all sites are long term with lime rock pads and sewer connection. we got put way in the back under pine trees on dirt because thats where they put Passport America people. they do have dump in a grassy area and propane. I hope I do not have to stay there

All camp grounds have homesteaders, some are young working adults and some are retired. If you plan a group trip to this camp ground I suggest you request to be AWAY from the retired homesteaders. They will complain about everything, your kids are too loud, I can hear your voice outside your campsite, your music isn't what I listen to, that dog in your camper is barking too much during the day, do you have a leash for your dog (my friend was carrying her dog) ect..... The staff was very prompt to reprimand us on all complaints, good job. We will not be returning back to Hillside Campground.

We spent the weekend here just as a getaway for my youngest son's birthday during this covid19 time. We enjoyed everything so much. The park was so clean as well as the facilities. The layout was amazing as well as our campsite. The pool was so clean and fishing near the lake was easy with the landscaping being so well kept. Now the staff, wow talk about wonderful and friendly service. They treated us so well and we never had not one problem during our stay. Thank you for everything and we will certainly be back soon. Keep up the amazing job

We spent 2 nights here on our way to Hilton Head from Alabama, and liked it so much we stayed again on our way back home. Full disclosure, some of the lots are not the best we've ever seen, but I think that can be said of almost any park. The pool and bath houses were very clean and well-maintained. The service staff is second-to-none! So accommodating and eager to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. It was very quiet and peaceful where we parked, as we found it to be in the entire park. I would have given them 5 stars, except the roads back to where we parked were a little

Large campground with lots of trees for shade. We stayed in early November, so lots of leaves at our site. It poured, so our site got muddy. Road had a few large puddles, but nothing to worry about. Price was reasonable, especially with Passport America. Owners were very hospitable. Wish there was a circuit breaker at the electrical box, but no issues.
