My husband has been taking his clothes here for years. I took my girls dresses to be altered and steamed. When I dropped them off I got a receipt for pick up that said it would be $170 which I thought was pricey but due to the time crunch I decided to leave them. When I picked them up I was charged $199. I was told that the 3" piece of fabric that was added to one of the dresses was hard to find. The day I dropped off the dresses I was very clear and very specific so there was no surprises in my request. I would not go there again.

Had a coupon for a 50 % off for new customers, but it did not apply to the down comforter l had. Ok, that's cool. The guy offers 20 % discount and that's nice. But he writes it up as a Queen size. No, l don't own a Queen bed, never have, l diplomatically ask if he is sure it is a Queen, he gets really huffy and says, "Well, l should know, l have been in this business for many years!" l instantly get intimidated by Mr. "You offended my Dry-cleaning authority" little ego man, ( l get intimidated easily by anger plus l always think l am the one who is wrong..

We've been using Safari for years, but yesterday they went above and beyond for me! We had just purchased new uniforms and washed them at home to soften them up before I was going to bring them in to be pressed. Well to my horror, something bleed all over the new uniforms while in my washer! I called Derrick in a panic and without hesitation he told me to bring them in. Luckily I hadn't dried them so they were able to get all of the color removed! Not only that he did it all the same day, since I needed them for work right away! This is just another example of their outstanding customer

We had been customers for many years. We had a wedding to go to and my husband needed his pants hemmed. He went and picked them up and when it was time for the wedding they were too long. They did not do it correctly. Okay, so mistakes happen- I understand that , but we had to scramble to make the pants shorter by going to a cbs store , etc. We had no time to complain. We were so busy after that , and when we finally were able to come to tel them what had happened. Instead of them correcting the mistake without us paying again. The owner said no and that he would not do it because of the time

Excellent service and my clothes were cleaned perfectly. Derrick always does a great job, with a smile. Prices are very competitive, and if you receive a coupon, you MUST have it with you for redemption. That's just how things work in this country. Just ask any old lady at the grocery store.
This location has plenty of parking. I love their consistency and their professionalism.

This dry cleaner is awful. About a year ago they sold me a discount card. But they continually refuse to honor it, claiming that it will only apply the discounts if the card is presented when the clothes are dropped off.
Nonsense.
This alleged policy not only is asinine, but it is not disclosed anywhere on the card itself, as my photos below reflect.
My advise -- go elsewhere.

We took in several items, one was dry cleaned with them before and came back perfect, but this time, I got home, after paying, and it was still dirty. It was just a little dirt, no stains. And it smelled. She said they would try it again. I got a call and she said they dry cleaned it two more times and could not get it clean. She suggested washing it. I came back to get it. They didn't refund me. They kept my money after giving it back to me still dirty, not saying anything, then after knowing they couldn't get it clean, charging me anyway. I've been using DryClean Safari for 7 or 8 years now and I have been nothing but a satisfied customer. As a busy mom of three, dropping off and picking up dry cleaning is one of my least favorite errands. Having delivery and pick up service has been a lifesaver for me. This place is tiny up front, typically loud, and almost always hot when you walk in. I wish the woman up front smiled a little more often, but she's always pretty distant and business like. That said, I've never had a problem with their service. In fact, clothes always come back how they're supposed to. Every other dry cleaner I've used has screwed things up at some point, but they're solid. The owner Darren is a cool dude for sure! I'd recommend them highly if you're looking for an average priced, solid cleaners.

I have used this company three times. All three times it was less than stellar service. The guy that run the place is nice but he has problems with your orders. I have gotten the wrong pants twice and one of my orders came with a skirt. I am sorry but I don't wear a skirt. I tried them off a flyer in the mailer and it was not worth it.

Don't do business with these guys. They might be fine when all goes well, as many other reviews indicate, but when there is a problem, that is when you really find out how much they value their customers. These guys will try to cut every corner they can to keep from fairly solving the problem. And they will indirectly call you a liar while they are at it.

This review is of the location on Johnson Dr. in Ventura. The people are friendly and I even saw the owner I think who was really helpful as well. They are the only ones open on Saturday. So...
I went in on Saturday last week to get an expensive suit altered and was promised that I'll have it back by Friday so I can wear it Saturday. Friday I go to pick up my suit and they don't have it, it's not there and they said they may have it for me Monday because whoever does the alterations is off until then.
