Services
In the beginning, it was the need of our community that prompted Dr. Richard Stefanacci, Sam Pompa of Caro Industries, and their associates to develop Forest Hill Healthcare Center. Forest Hill Healthcare Center represents the first major construction project for our neighborhood in several decades.
Forest Hill's Post-Acute Care Unit is a dedicated recovery and rehabilitative setting for patients recuperating from an injury, surgical procedure or serious illness. Post-acute residents receive regular nursing services and daily rehabilitative therapy programs. Forest Hill provides physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies as needed.
Half of Forest Hill's 120 beds are devoted to long-term care. Long-term care is for patients who can no longer live on their own and require assistance or supervision with medications and activities of daily living. Sometimes we discover residents admitted to Forest Hill on a short-term basis would be better served in long-term care.
Sometimes those surprises are the least expected - an unforeseen change in the health and well being of an elderly loved one, a spouse, a friend, or even yourself. During times like this you need to rely on the compassion and experience of professionals, to help guide you through a difficult time for you and your loved one.
Forest Hill Healthcare Center is proud to have the most professional and competent nursing staff around! No agency use, no contracted nurses and, and over 50% of our Direct Care Staff has 6 or more years of continuous employment. Applicants must be SORA certified. Applicants can expect to work 3 8-hour shifts a week, most of which will be overnight shifts.

My girlfriends aunt works there for 6years,they're letting workers who have been infected with covid return to work ,they are not properly testing and if you are sick they don't want you tell anyone or to say the truth on the questionnaire .sick or not they want you to come in. this is so horrible to the elderly people who have no relatives or a voice if patients complain the workers punish them and beat them and leave them soiled until the next shift. they don't want to waste money on the proper protective equipment they're putting sick people with one's that are not sick they don't want you to

Negligent. My step father left significantly worse than he entered. He left with a severely infected bed sore - that resulted in his readmission to the hospital almost immediately. What more, when he was released from the facility, he came home with a hand written note that said only clean catheter (no explanation of how to) and renal diet (no explanation of what that entailed). While there, he was quarantined. My mother dropped off some fruit, water etc. All of it was found spoiled bc the staff placed it out of his reach and did nothing to aid him. (He was unable to walk.). Do not put someone

Great environment but I have never been to a nursing home where the CNAs tells the nurses what they will and will not do. The nurses has to answer the call lights and then report to the cna what the patients needs are and the supervisors makes sure the nurses get the call lights especially on the night shift despite what the nurse is doing at the time while the CNAs are asleep and wrapped in blankets as if they are home in bed. You can tell the CNAs a million times a patients needs there help they won't even move a muscle until they pleases themselves wether it be 2hours or 6hours later. nurses

Please please DO NOT EVER SEND ANY LOVE ONE Here. My father was here. The nurses have not feed him in six days! They lied and told us that he refused food when the truth is that they drugged him to keep him sleep and kept telling us when we came to see him in the evening that he had a “long” day from rehab. The result now is that my father is in the ICU! Literally all his vitals are low even oxygen. The place will label your family member as “ aggressive” so that they can do what ever they want. Their food is horrible I asked them what was the mystery meat on the plate and the nurse stated

This is a TERRIBLE place!! I went to visit my mother, alone in a sweltering room, crying because she had to go to the bathroom and no one would come help her. I went to the nurses station told the nurse who told me that wasn't her room and she would get the right nurse. Meanwhile there is a patient sitting in front of the nurses station trying to talk to someone, with the shirt up and her breasts showing and the staff is just walking by her not paying any attention.
I waited half an hour and still no one came to help my mother, I went back to the nurses station, they tell me someone will be right

My Mom has been a patient off and on since March 2017. The Staff is wonderful and my Mom just loves this place. I made the decision for her to be sent to this facility because she had a very good experience when she was a patient there on 2012. This place is clean as hell and all the nurses and cna's are very nice and professional. Me and my siblings always visited almost every day and we always found our mother very happy and well taken care of. Forest Hill is one of the best places your loved one can be for rehabilitation.
Sincerely,

It's just an ok rehab center. It looks clean from the outside but if you have any type of respiratory problem be careful. The air vents and air conditioners are full of dust and grime. The administrators are very unorganized, lack of communication is very common. House Dr is extremely slow to communicate needed orders.

I Can Tell That This Place Is Ran By Unprofessional Idiots... Kecia Dickens Left Me Three Voicemails For An Interview For August 3rd, At One Thirty... I Called To Reschedule For The Fourth And When I Arrived Was Told My Interview Was Schedule For One pm When The Voicemail Clearly Stated One Thirty. Very Unprofessional I Wouldn't Want To Work For A Company Where They Can't Even Schedule A Proper Interview..
