I accepted a job training as a travel agent in 1978, thinking it would be a "temporary job." Eventually, I realized that I had been led to this industry. I thrive working with people and introducing the world to them. I love seeing people get the mental, emotional or physical break that they need. And to hear of relationships that strengthened and of clients trying new things, broadening their horizons, and exceeding their expectations.

It's been nearly 200 years since Charles Darwin studied the Galapagos archipelago, which consists of 13 volcanic islands and 16 small islets off the coast of Ecuador. It's an area filled with an extraordinary variety of many of the world's most unique flora and fauna. Just a few of the animals to be enjoyed in their habitat are sea lions, seals, giant tortoises, water and land iguanas, frigate birds and blue-footed boobies.
A popular cruise port, the town of Ketchikan is known for it's Native American totem poles, the snow-capped mountains and waterfalls in nearby Misty Fjords National Monument and wildlife. There are enough choices of things to do for you to want to come back again. Best time to visit: The Alaska cruise season runs from April through September.

My husband and I were introduced to Connie’s agency through a neighbor as we were booking a Norway Viking trip. In initial talks we expressed an interest in traveling to Iceland. We have booked three trips with Connie George in the past four years, two Viking River cruises and most recently this month a Viking Ocean Cruise to Iceland. Connie has been our cruise travel agent for the last 8 years or so. And we would not work with anyone else. Prior to Connie, a travel agent never lasted more than a year with us due to their gross ineptitude. However, Connie brings a wealth of knowledge of the cruise industry that has been very beneficial to us along with a get it done work… ethic. She is also great to remind us of key deadlines and plans those very well for us. We just came home from a cruise that went from Montreal, Canada to Boston, Massachusetts. Connie helped us plan the excursions and worked with Holland America so we felt comfortable and had no physical difficulties in enjoying the great excursions. Holland America helped us feel special in celebrating our anniversary. We were so pleased with Connie's help in getting a room that just met all of our expectations and more.

We had our first cruise as a family and the most AMAZING time all thanks to Connie. You took care of everything and made sure we were able to leave our worries on shore. We went to Alaska and were able to see beautiful glaciers, humpback whales, orcas, bears in the wild, puffins, seals, sea otters and eagles. Connie has helped my husband and me with two separate cruises. My husband is a quadriplegic and wheelchair bound so traveling takes extra attention to detail. Our family took a reunion cruise this month. I had used Connie's Agency on a prior trip but for only a few cabins. Her crew did such a great job on our first cruise, asking her for help on this was a no brainer. I gave Connie just over 5 months to help me pick a ship, pick a date, get everything together, and answer a million questions from me and… all our family. In just 5 short months Connie helped us get 38 cousins to commit and book the trip. We had 17 rooms on that ship. Connie is a real find! She provided extraordinarily thoughtful guidance from the start to the finish of our recent family reunion cruise on RCCL out of Miami. My husband and I travel a great deal but are not… normally cruisers; we simply could not have done this without her. Kudos to Connie! My sisters and I went on our first cruise ever, to Alaska, and Connie helped make it so successful.
