Established in 1989 at JFK airport in Jamaica, New York, by Monika Munro, the current President and CEO, Profreight has provided U.S. Customs brokerage and integrated global logistics services to importers and exporters for over 30 years.
Profreight is a full-service U.S. Customs Brokerage licensed by the U.S. Customs & Border Protection to provide nationwide services to importers at all United States ports of entry. All U.S. Customs compliance and clearance requirements for the imports by our clients are processed in-house by Profreight's own knowledgeable and experienced staff, with utmost confidentiality and efficiency, saving time and avoiding costly mistakes.
Profreight is an international freight forwarder licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission as an Ocean Transport Intermediary (OTI) and a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC). Profreight is also an International Air Transport Association (IATA) approved freight forwarder for air cargo shipments.
Profreight has been a preferred customs broker for several antique importers for the last 30 years. We ship antiques around the globe as well as clear them at U.S. customs at all ports. Our clients often travel with the antiques and require us to be present at the arrival hall in the US airports to help them declare the importation properly.

35 of the tiles arrived damaged (1/3 of the product). The sub-contractor Saia told me to buy the replacement tiles on Friday and they would pick them up today (Monday) so the project would-not be held up. I did. Today (pick up day) they demanded another freight charge be paid or they would not pick them up. I filed a claim with both Profreight and their subcontractor Saia and they both wanted me to pay the freight charge for a 2nd time while they worked out their claims process (for up to 90 days). I told them that was not acceptable and I would invoke another solution available to me if they did
