Chakay has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2003. Over the years she has ventured into many professions, but her love for beauty has brought her back to the Cosmetology industry. Chakay is certified and trained in Eyelash Extensions, Microblading/Microshading, and Scalp Micropigmentation. As a wife and mother of six, Chakay wanted to be in a profession that she would enjoy and also allow her to be hands on with her family.
Also referred to as a Hair Tattoo, Head Tattoo, Scalp Tattoo, Micropigmentation, Scalp Pigmentation, and SMP, Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses micro-needles to place pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles that help thicken and restore the look of fuller hair.

I was lucky to find a trustworthy microshading salon (The Bar Aesthetics) through my cousin. Although I wanted to enhance my eyebrows, I could not find a reputable salon to meet my needs. So I continued to use eyebrow cream daily and became pretty good at it.
