By visiting this site, you have taken the first step toward change. I applaud your effort and courage. You are probably looking for a therapist because you have tried everything you can think of, and nothing seems to work. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your partner, a family member or friend, finding the right therapist is essential.

Time and time again, research has shown that the best indicator of success in therapy is the quality of the relationship between the therapist and the client. My clients tell me I am kind, easy going, compassionate, friendly and helpful. You will experience me as a real person, I will not just ask questions and leave you to sort it all out.
Services
My clients tell me I am compassionate, thoughtful, friendly and insightful. I am a warm and gentle person with a zest for life and humor. My passion is for helping people by allowing them a space to heal and grow. Sometimes we get stuck: we feel life is overwhelming, we just cannot do it anymore and something has to change.
While every client is different, ultimately each client is suffering in some way, either with their own pain, holding someone else's pain or the pains of everyday living.

Whether you are suffering from depression and anxiety, suffering the loss of a loved one, being a caregiving for your loved one, or just sick of things going wrong in your life; therapy can help you look at these issues in a loving and honest way and by doing so it welcomes change and healing.
I currently provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families at my private practice in Santa Clara. I work with adults, caregivers, older adults, as well as children. While I provide therapy for a variety of concerns, I specialize in helping family caregivers and their families cope with their role transition and change.
My fee is $205 for a 50-minute session. If you have any financial concerns, please discuss those with me, as reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. You will be expected to pay for each session at the time it is held, unless we agree otherwise. I accept cash or checks as well as most major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

This is an overdue negative review. Months have now passed after the fallout from Jennifer's two zoom sessions with my adult daughter. Jennifer played both of us...with the same "psychological" input about the other. She was dishonest. The mission as agreed was to offer assistance & hopefully enlightenment to help me re-engage with my daughter. What my daughter shared about Jennifer's comments spoke about a psychologist who lies and cannot be trusted. Beware...

Wow, one of the most positive therapy experience I've ever had! Jennifer is thoughtful, empathetic, caring, and kind--while at the same time empowering and constructive. I feel like I have the perfect balance of "going deep" and "pushing forward," which in my experience is hard to find in a therapist.

More specifically, in the past, I've experienced therapists who are good listeners, but I felt like we never really made progress (I just kind of talked in circles)--or I've worked with therapists who were so focused on progress that we never really got to the root

I have been seeing Jennifer regularly for the last year. She has always been very caring, attentive, and professional. Jennifer has a good memory -it seems like she always remembers what I have said before, whether it's 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago. She is also very knowledgeable, and is happy to discuss new psychology / neurobiology research that I have come across (and what it might mean for me).

I have been working with Jennifer for over 2 years meeting multiple times per week and my personal and professional life have improved noticeably and tangibly. The work is hard; it is real work, but it works. Jennifer is caring. Most importantly for me, she is supportive. She remembers, is genuine, and insightful. I am so grateful to have her in my life. This is having been through a few therapists over decades. Therapy is good. Jennifer is great therapy and if you are battling a pervasive life issue, this woman will understand and support you.
