Nancy was of great assistance 10+ suggesting shoes I was needing for high arches, very patient. The store has a wide selection of shoes of many styles.
Definitely go visit even if to just look around, you'll find a pair or two of not more to leave with and will be very comfortable.

Well I read the reviews and I left my home on the hunt for the right fitting Sandler . Did not know this place was alive but surprisingly there it was and even more surprising was Cameron greeting me at the moment I walked in and he helped me find the right sized fitting sandals and punched extra holes in the left sandal so it would fit my foot as it had swelling issues. Knowledge he has it caring about the customer he has it attitude he has that in spades customer service is all over this guy will I tell anyone about this place and the terrific customer service he delivered only every time that

Customer service was nice but they do NOT honor the warranty's of the brands they carry. Recently purchased a pair of altras, which has a 30 day guarantee and the return was denied. If there is even a 1% chance the purchase will not work out for you go somewhere else. Altra has one of the best warranties in the business and should be a safe purchase, and has been everywhere else, its not a safe purchase at gentrys. Per the owners response, they looked at the altra return policy and took the return. The response was quick and professional.

BEST SHOE STORE, hands down. If you need comfortable shoes for your feet so that they do not hurt by the end of the day, Gentry's Footwear is the place to go. They have fashionable shoes that will quickly become your favorites. it is nice to have a good shoe store in the south end. These kinds of shoes can be a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you have sore or painful feet by the end of the day, you know it is worth it! Great staff, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Competitive prices.

Gentry's Footwear staff is incredible! I have very difficult feet to find a shoe that is comfortable and yet gives me the support I need. Kendall was amazing! She spent nearly two hours with me. Fitting me with a pair of shoes for walking and house shoes. When the house shoes didn't work for me she spent another hour an half trying different styles. Have to wait till next week to get my size in but I know I will get what is going to work and be comfortable. It will be so nice not to have to wear shoes with orthotics in the house all the time. I was excited to see a new store opening at Kent Station and to have it a shoe store was even better! When I first visited the store we were at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. They were so careful in keeping the store safe for everyone to use. Awesome selection of shoes, great brands and a very helpful staff. I found the most comfy Oofos flip flops! I wear them all the time. Thank you, thank you.....a store that my feet love.

I gave them a call and the owner herself, Gabby, answered the phone and was able to answer all the questions I had. I stopped in for the first time this morning. Needed some good walking shoes. She measured my feet and came out with the perfect pair of shoes. So comfortable. I specifically drove to this store to look & try on the Boston style Birkenstock but found it to be very slippery when walking on carpeted floor. Very helpful salesperson assisted me & I ended up buying another German brand of slippers that is way more comfortable and warm since it's wool. Tiny store with limited choices since they're moving soon to the KENT STATION area in a couple of months. I also receive a coupon that I can use @ the new store once they've moved. I will check out their new store in January and perhaps use the coupon then.

Found this place while scrolling yelp for a shoe store that sells good for your feet athletic / work shoes...and it didn't disappoint. ..5 stars for the associate. ..so kind and helpful..im sorry if she reads this and i don't remember her name...young lady with blonde hair...so sweet..i bought 2 pairs of Hokas....they measure and fit your foot to perfection....she showed me different ways to lace the shoes for running vs. Everyday wear...hmm. I never knew that was a thing.....

This is a local small business....personalized service, time to really help you with what you need, offers suggestions and ideas, and building relationships with reputable local podiatrists. So much better than the big national shoe stores where you don't get any of those thins. A great experience and I will go back!

I am probably one of the hardest people to fit for a pair of shoes.
I have bought a couple pairs of tennis shoes, a couple pairs of Superfeet orthotics. They were able to fit my doctor made orthotics into a pair of shoes. And the day before going to a wedding. Gabrielle found me a pair of comfortable dress shoes. They are super knowledgable and super attentive.

The owners are very knowledgeable and patient with finding just there right shoe(s) for you. I have a large shoe size and Levi was very patient and helpful to check and bring out dozens of shoes. Not only that, he educated me on the shoe style/ company. We eventually found a few perfect shoes for me and my plantar fasciitis is thanking them every day.
