State law requires recycling centers to pay California Redemption Value (CRV) refunds for loads that contain ONLY eligible CRV beverage containers. Non-CRV materials must be removed from the load, or at the discretion of the recycling center, the load may be rejected or receive only scrap value. Customers may still request to be paid by count for up to 50 CRV beverage containers of each material type: 50 glass, 50 Aluminum, 50 Plastic in one day.

I have been a loyal customer of McCoy Recycling since the day they opened and as of now I will not be coming back since I will be taking my business elsewhere and I recommend everyone else to do the same. I would drive 30-45 minutes out of my way to come here even though there is a recycling center located right behind my business due to previously receiving great service but that is no longer the case. I would of saved money by throwing my recyclables and scrap in the dumpster instead of scrapping them.

Finally a place that's HONEST and transparent about everything. They will take all your recycle by count up to 50 of each kind and each size : plastic and alunium ( past that it goes by weight ) . They will give you a receipt with the exact weight and price . Everything is clearly stated and easy to understand. The place moves fairly fast . The parking is easy . They stayed open during covid and made sure to leave 6 ft distance between the cars . The foor

It was time to clean up and that means dumping the recycles to get what I can out of them. Searching through Yelp I found McCoy Recycles. After reading a few reviews the main point I got out of it is they are quick and clean.
I headed down with my plastics and tins having no clue what to do. Fortunately signs were posted up on the wall behind the carts giving instructions what to do. They were easy to follow.
We stood inline waited for our turn. A guy walked over grabbed our carts. He weighed them and gave us a receipt. I took it to the cashier to collect my booty and just

Went there today to sell my CRV cans an plastics. Only got $37 for 2 huge bags of crushed material. The receipt the weight master gave me said 10lbs tare then the one the cashier gave me said 16lbs tare. There is no way in hell their carts weigh 16lbs when they're made of light PVC pipe and netting. THEY RIP YOU OFF!

This is honestly the nicest recycling center I have ever been to hands down. CLEAN! and organized well, with an amazing staff. The parking, rolling carts, weigh station, and cashier are all in the same general area and the friendly staff makes things go smoothly. There is a ton of signage that explains the different materials and their current value (look up coupons for even more $$$).
I recommend separating your bottles/cans ahead of time to keep everything as efficient as possible and filter out those non-CRV items so they won't have to do it there and hold up the line.
