Services
Main Street Fibers opened its doors in 1983 with a used truck, an old baler, and 3 employees. We have since grown to become the largest full service recycler in the Inland Empire. We now dispatch over 25 trucks daily, and combined with our employees, contract labor and trucking we keep over 100 people working hard to service our ever expanding customer base.
Notice to our customers: We are no longer accepting "Mix Paper" (mixture of all paper grades including magazines and telephone books). Now more than ever it is imperative that we try to recycle all that we can to keep paper out of landfills and help save the earth. Many people are surprised at the types of paper that we accept and at the large volume we process daily.
Main Street Fibers supplies a wide variety of processed and packaged quality grade ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal for consumers, both foreign and domestic. As recognized industry leaders with a reputation for quality, Main Street Fibers commands the highest value possible for its recyclable material.
Main Street Fibers recycles certain types of industrial plastics generated by its customers. Certain factors, such as plastic type, volume and form will determine the pricing and/or acceptance of the material. This is a short list of types of Industrial Plastics we handle and recycle for our customers.
Over the last several years, as scrap metal prices have risen and the economy has declined, metal theft has increasingly become a problem. A summary of the requirements follows. All recyclers are required by the State of California to collect the following information:. A signature indicating the seller is the owner of the property being sold or a signed, verifiable authorization from the owner to sell the property.

Very bad experience. Got ripped off for a truck load of aluminum. They act friendly but they rip you off in the end. After unloading I go to the counter and the lady says 4Ā¢ per pound. I asked for the aluminum back and they said no because they said it already was processed. Don't go here, they are thieves. They gave me $30 for 750 lbs of clean aluminum. The worst part is they didn't even pay me yet because they put a 2 day hold on anything over $20. BEWARE this place will scam you!

Old place for recycling cans and all sorts of materials. They have multiple buildings that will take your cans, cardboard, paper, metal, aluminum scraps, and copper wire. Like most recycling centers, they will not give you the benefit of the doubt and low price your scrap materials if you should bring copper wiring or aluminum conduit. Advice is to strip the insulation off any wire and remove any plastics from conduit. You get the most out of your deposit. Side note: I did repair on a shear, had one of the biggest brass gears I ever carried by hand. Worst price for it and then when I came to claim

Run of your mill recycling center. Most of the workers speak Spanish, but clear enough English to finish a transaction. Set in the rural area of Montclair ,Ontario border, the place is next to a railroad track still being used today. The yard is one of three, yes that's right three. One is for industrial recycling materials via businesses , the other for packing and shipping for the state it seems and the one I'm reviewing. Is for the local collected and recyclables. It's really simple, you pull in one way. You empty your cargo in containers lined against the wall. Walk up to the yellow line, to
