Thomas A. Benavidez is shareholder and President of Benavidez Law Group, P.C. Thomas graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law in 1996. While in law school, Thomas earned the position of Executive Lead Articles Editor for the California Western International Law Journal, remained perpetually on the Dean's List and clerked for Appellate Defenders, Inc., writing appellate briefs, motions, and memoranda.
Javier Alatorre is an attorney concentrating his practice in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense & prosecution, real estate, municipal and government matters, as well as legal consulting in Mexican legal affairs.

I live outside Arizona, but needed local representation to resolve a post-decree child support dispute in Tucson in August 2018. I found BLG through Hyatt Legal Services and retained Lisa Benavidez and her team to represent me.

Lisa was very rude to me and not willing to help me out whatsoever. I am currently seeking legal help to get my small boys. Lisa was very irrational to me basically giving her two sense and that was it. Made me feel very affended and angry. Horrible i wasted my money to get chewed up and spit back out. No empathy at all!

Elisabeth was recommended to me, not from the person who hired her (i did not know that person), but from the person they went up against in court. Thats how good she was.
Unfortuannly i have had a few lawyers over the years, with child/parenting issues. I would never recommend or go back to any of them, until Elisabeth.
I cant be happier with my court outcome and if i ever need a lawyer again, i will not hesitate to call her.
Not only was i extremely happy with Elisabeth, but even her office and staff were easy and helpful to work with.

I have had the unfortunate need of using Lisa Benavidez a few times over the last 6-7 years. She has always been on top of things and absolutely professional. She rarely, if ever, makes mistakes and doesn't forget anything, unlike a few other nameless attorneys in Tucson. She is absolutely one of the best Family Practice Attorneys in town. I have used Lisa Benavidez numerous times for family law issues. She doesn't disappoint. She is conscientious, prompt, caring, and extremely ethical.
