Rikki holds a BS degree in business from Oregon State University and a Bachelors's degree in dental hygiene from Oregon Health & Science University. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Dental Hygiene Honor Society, which recognizes academic achievement and clinical excellence. She has two children attending Linfield College in McMinnville and enjoys watching their various sporting events.

Amazing, gentle and very careful dentist....we'd been spoiled by having Dr Guthrie for decades until he retired....we intended on finding a dentist closer to our home, but after meeting Dr Strauss, we KNEW she's the best there is and worth the long drive!

Dr Strauss is highly competent, intelligent and very kind. She helped me with a couple teeth that were in pain. She responded to my weekend, after hours call and got me on some antibiotics.
Her office staff, especially Carlyn is awesome and does an excellent job of breaking down the cost and coordinating with my insurance.

We were patients of Dr. Brian Guthrie for over 30 years. When he retired we had apprehensions about seeing a new dentist. Our first visit with Doctor Julie Strauss set our minds at ease. Doctor Strauss is amazing, her knowledge and experience in dentistry will keep us as patients and we will recommend her highly to anyone that is looking for a dentist. Doctor Strauss and her staff are not only professionals they are kind and compassionate and we are treated as if we were family.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Strauss and her team. Ricki did my cleaning, she was warm and easy to talk to. She was so gentle and gave me a lot of great tips. She even provided me with a heated pillow!
Dr. Strauss was comforting and very caring during my work I had done. She checked on me a ton and made me feel very comfortable and confident being there. I loved how much Dr. Strauss paid attention to little details to make sure everything she did was done properly. Dr. Strauss, DMD, is a great dentist -- Very professional, technically competent, and a very personable caring person. Great attentive and personal staff too. Dr. Strauss Saved my #20 tooth by observing a possible decay under crown near margin -- did crown prep and build up, and will return for placement of new crown. Very glad Dr. Strauss is my dentist. Earlier Dr. Strauss placed another crown in my mouth and in placing of crown actually " straightened " the tooth that was previously crooked giving me a more cosmetic smile, which is good for everyone.

Dr. Guthrie founded his office on sincerely caring for people in a relaxed and warm environment. I was one of his first patients at his dental office back at the beginning. He felt very fortunate to be able to have Dr. Strauss step into his business easily having his same mind set for his staff and patients. Thirty-some years later, I feel lucky to still be a patient at this dental office that feels like home.
